WOW!!! The Ty43 class was on extinction in those days. As far as I know, Gniezno was the last depot on PKP network, which was maintaining these machines in 1989. Your recording is priceless, historical material. Best regards!

Thanks for your comment and the additional information, at the Gniezno Depot,in march 1989 there were about 12 locomotives (class Ty43) in working condition,best regards !

Last duty of Ty43 in Gniezno is 13.10.1990. It was Ty43-76

This steamengine (Ty43-76) was heaten after eight month after that it was finnally take out of order (something about February 1990). And make his duty without any problems! It was a extremally rare situation that locomotive back to work after decision of not work any longer.

Fajny film. Szkoda ze panewki słychać na kilometr. Maszynista Orzechowski odrazu by się nimi zainteresował.
Teraz na tej linii trudno szukać nawet szynobusu. Nawet wtedy tłumów w wagonach nie było...

@@TheRometOgar200 Tak było taniej, przynajmniej w 70-tych i na pocz 80-tych. Dzisiaj też ściągamy gówno z Chin i niektórzy są z tego powodu zadowoleni, bo tanio :D
