Honestly getting some thrift store jeans in actual cotton (stiff material) was so helpful as I lost weight. Wearing leggings and joggers during the pandemic made me not even realize I was going up 20lbs. Dressing with a little more structure helps with posture/healthy weight management and overall confidence.
I love how authentic you are. You are a young woman with a good head on her shoulder. You are gorgeous naturally. You do not need hair dye or makeup!

I'm a retired dentist in UK firstly your teeth are perfectly white enough, whiter doesn't equal healthier. Also most USA white strips are illegal in Europe as have too much hydrogen peroxide to get a safe medical licence. It is a fact that even when whitening is done professionally that 20-30% of people still experience sensitivity. If your teeth hurt when having iced drinks or biting into icecream you probably can't deal with whitening. Don't use abrasive toothpaste. Thebest factors for staining teeth are smoking drinking black tea and coffee red wine and foods with lots of artificial colours in them. Save your money kyra. You need a decent toothbrush changed roughly every 3-6 months and toothpaste and floss or tepe ( not sure what they are called in America) brushes for the gaps. Prevention is better than cure and cheaper so an annual check up is fine. Unless you know you have gum disease in which case more often.

I found a small solution for this :) when I buy my groceries I get points, I can exchange my points in a drugstore and buy my makeup 0$
Kyra! Have you considered writing a minimalist ebook or paperback book? So one thing I did last year and this year was publish my own cookbooks on Amazon to pad my income. I just have two but it’s a start. I don’t make a lot per month but it definitely helps. Every bit helps. If you publish a minimalist ebook I would definitely buy it! Who else?! lol
That's a great idea! I hope to do that one day. Perhaps once I get my patreon started and have a better flow on both my channel and my patreon then I will look into publishing a small book. Definitely on my bucket list ☺️🤍

Another thing I found useful for me was purchasing my own eye brow electronic shaver. I now do my own eyebrows at home and that saves me a ton of money and time. Love your videos!!
I agree with a lot of what you said. Ditto here. Coffee table. Cant stand them. Even the name is wierd to me. I stopped buying basicly all the same thing you listed. And more. I actually dont like to shop. I have my list of needs go in the store, find them and get out. Big box stores annoy me.

I believe we were doing the minimalism journey about the same year. Been watching you for a long time. I related to you coz I was once a dietary aide. I've come a long way with this journey and to be honest, I think it's a forever journey. I am a recovering shopaholic so I've had slip-ups 😮💨 but watching videos like yours helps me keep in check. I've decluttered soooooo much and it makes me sick the amount of money I wasted over the years.

I gained 60 lbs too since 2020 lockdown. And I have no desire to wear jeans I just been wearing long skirts and long sleeve shirts. Decluttering rn
Curvy fit jeans has changed my life. The cut is wider in hip and thigh and fits the hourglass figure. Down the line, try that style.
I've been eager to test those jeans, but I'll hold off for now as we're saving for a house. Once our finances are in order, I look forward to adding some high-quality pieces to my evolving wardrobe starting with those jeans!

i feel the same lol. i guess when we get our sensitivity returned back after all sorts of detoxes from the society, we all come to not need the same things. my changes happened after i went vegan its when i realized what i really need and want vs compulsive desires and what i can live without that doesnt improve my life quality. now i can live without working or doing things that i dont want to just to make the money or get the means to do things that dont make me happy. also I agree so much with the waiting. they usually always have a reason!

Have you ever considered getting allergy shots? I have extremely sensitive skin too, couldn’t wear cheap jewelry or stand perfume. Since treating my allergies, my eczema has gone away completely and I can tolerate perfume without it irritating my skin or giving me migraines
I’ve been wanting to do this so bad along with seeing a doctor about my gut health. Definitely going to look into doing these appointments this new year.

Idk how expensive your lip balms are but if you want to save some money when yours run out, I highly highly recommend the Dr bronners lip balm! Super soft, so moisturizing! And like 2.99 or 3.99 at target & most health stores!

Kyra I was wondering how long it takes to dry clothes on drying rack and do u put towels in dryer . My electric is going up again I thinking of trying drying rack.
So lately I’ve been using the dryer with dryer balls when it comes to large loads of laundry. We personally pay $2 to wash and $3 to dry our clothes since the washers/dryers are shared by every tenant. I would suggest a drying rack if you have the space for one especially when it comes to special clothing items that can’t go on the dryer. This might help your electric bill issue, also unplug things your not using such as phone chargers, laptop chargers, coffee machines etc. This might help as well.

I’m curious, do you tip when you go to restaurants? If so, what percentage?
I personally don’t eat out these days only if it’s a special occasion like a birthday. But when I do I give what I can. This is one of the reasons why I eat more at home due to how expensive it can get with eating out, theres the gas you use to get to the restaurant, parking expense, over priced meal and a tip. It’s just too much 😩
But I do always leave a tip because people find it very rude here when you don’t and most people survive off there tips as a sole income.
My husband hates logos so much that he removed the logos off his car 😂

Yea the amount of stupid laws here in Massachusetts are ridiculous. Where not even allowed to have tinted windows, lower your car, Also some license plate covers are illegal along with not having a plate in the front of your car you're bound to get pulled over.

The seven-year-old sweater I have on has a couple of rips, likely from when I bought it at boohoo years ago. While it's not the best quality, my current plan is to gradually replace all my clothes with higher-quality pieces, but for now, I'm making do with what I have.
