I have to say a lot of ppl say they are beginner but you can tell they do not know or remember what it is to have little core strength because THIS was actually very accessible and I’m so grateful to you. When I discovered I could not throw a softball accurately or with velocity, I knew my core was weak, I’m building up daily but I do have an arthritic hip
Thank you, I am 40 yo and out of nowhere a few months ago I had to be hospitalized due to a huge lumbar pain, I felt so fragile after that, started to think about buying a recliner and ergonomic shoes, and I was like I am only 40 !! What wrong with me, I started your Pilates class and I feel stronger and in better shape than ever, and it’s only been 3 months 😅 love it !! Never let yourself go, this will be my life from Now on, my stretch exercises and this are a life game changer 💪🏻

Me too I turned 40 and after 4 kids I felt so weak !
I do not usually comment on videos, however this was amazing for me. I have been really struggling with very little core strength and this work out just ticked every box. I was about to stop 12 minutes in as i didnt want to push my body too far on the first go, but i noted that there were only 4 minutes left and continued to the end. I'm so grateful and will be using this workout daily over the next couple of weeks. Thank you. ❤❤

I like that you talk the movements through and explain what each movement is doing, it helps to encourage myself to WHY I am doing the movements aswel as education. When I want to have a more quite lesson, I have a go-to teacher on here for that! All is so valuable, so thank you Jessica for what you do!

Seeing this just as I’m coming out of weeks recovering from a hip “incident” - no idea why a movement I’ve done many, many times caused that “pop” - and Covid for the very first time - what a special gift for the last night of Chanukah 😩

Very grateful for your knowledge and presence, awareness of chronic pain and conditions. Former gymnast turned Ironman triathlete, now disabled and finding safety and strength in pilates movements. Kept pushing myself to walk and do yoga, which kept me stuck in fatigue and autonomic wonkiness for several years after a long phase of surgery and illness. Finally to the sweet spot. Thanks again!

This is a great video. And good info on the “neck sit up.” My neck was killing me during those abs lifts and now i realize my shoulders weren’t off the mat enough. Great tip! Good to know everything isn’t the “hundreds.”

Love this beginner workout that helps me to strengthen my core. My core can be really weak and I felt it just doing these. May I also ask if core exercises help to strengthen the neck too? Will you be able to show some of the neck strengthening exercises? Neck can be a pain sometimes!

Hi I have arthritis in most joints, I have bee doing some weight work, I started to do then your exercises, but my hips and back are really painful, I don’t want to stop as I know it will help me should I carry on every day or a few times a week?
