In my house in London, inside some sort of exit door thing, I think there were some Apollo Discovery smoke alarms but they didn’t have the strobes for the smoke alarm. I think. They were only set to the tone: “Evacuation Tone”, I think.
My apartment has the DIN Tone heard from 1:41. The fire department tests them yearly, so I might film and upload a clip of it sounding here on CZcams ^^
I got to say I’m new to your channel and this video is absolutely fanatic I just can’t explain how good it is I want to see more like this ! Btw I have Conventional system atm but as I’m moving my system to a container and might be going addressable but idk as that will be happening soon as the COVID-19 Virus has gone btw do you have discord?
4:04 In my school they use the alert as the bell to say you gotta go to class. In some of the buildings it plays the normal tone but if it goes for more than 3 or 5 seconds you know it’s real
My school is in 3. 1. Infants 2. Higher 3. Canteen is split And all of them are in the same system, same sound P. S alarms are random brands And 2nd building has an extra alarm outside the office
My school used to use medium sweep but they changed it to the alert tone for the bell. Evacuation tone is used for fire alarms. EDIT: Our school uses xp95s. UK btw
@@finleymitchell2933 in North America (Canada & the United States) the main evacuation tone is the code 3 tone. Hence I can definitely see the tone being used as a second evacuation tone in Britain. It should be, but it's not.
15 is the one they have at my school and its scary as hell when your hear it, its probably not that bad in the video but IRL is scary as hell, also with these alarms, you can tell if there going to go off because (at my school anyway) they flash red once before they make the sound, i used to say "fire alarm" right before it went off lol
Din tone and appolo is they best I LOVE THE DIN TONE it was in my school in Gütersloh Germany it was in the school called Haig school witch is happily shutdown gone for good I hated at school because i allays got triggered and bullied.
1st one is my primary schools one apollo xp95 (the sounder ur using rn ight now) and big red flashy one (idk what it's called) Number 2 is the high school version of our alarms and we use gent sounders with the red flashy ones aswell. I fear both of them and scared incase they go off and same in the toilets, toilets are the worst as you walk right next to them when walking out the door
Nah once I was in the toilet and the alarm went off in primary, it was an qpollo and it was continuous 825hz and it hurt my ears. Then outside we had the even louder once that were continuous and so loud you can hear them from my house 10 mins away 😂😂😂
Seeing an apollo detector on the base and hearing the alternating tone at hochiki speed and pitch for setting 2 seems out of place to me for some reason. Though my assumption is that the base sounder is also offered with hochiki detectors.
I believe the reason they have that tone is for if there is a campus with multiple buildings the fire alarms can be the same tone but be different brands
Surely is.Thursday 15th December 2022 .Those 2 alarms ( 1 & 2 ) went off during wet play, sensors activated due to a leakage. Activated again like 10 minutes afterwards the first alarm. Then went silent

My fave one is either the Apollo Evacuation Tone at 0:26 / 3:48 or the Apollo Alert Tone at 4:06! Great Vid!!!
The Apollo Evacuation Alert tone is set as default sound when the alarms are installed.
The Apollo evacuation one is used at a fire bell in my school and the Apollo alert tone is just the normal bell for lesson changeover lol
The Emergency Warning Siren sounds like a dual-tone Federal Signal Modulator. Great video!
I totally agree with you
It does! I also thought it sounded a bit like a Federal Signal Thunderbolt with no blower and high pitched
