  • I decided to dedicate this milestone with a special project that I’ve been working on for a few months now. I released this much later than I had originally planned to do, because I filmed this back in October. I apologize for my incoherent speaking, at the time I had an illness that somewhat stifled my voice, and messed with my sleep. Also, I spent too much time introducing the devices. 😂
With that in mind, this is a very intriguing project that I worked on, with some rather unexpected results! One of those unexpected results was the fact that the video was over 45 minutes long.
I can’t guarantee that my decibel reader was accurate, because it was just an app on an older iPhone I had, (the XR, for anyone who cares.) Also, this was done in my garage, which is bare plywood wall, and a concrete floor, so some alarms may sound louder than they actually would be in a regular building.
I was inspired to do this by the user FireAlarm5967. He originally did this by finding out which alarm was the loudest.
Thank you all for your subscriptions, as well as your loyalty! Enjoy!

Gahh your collection is so cool! I love how you collect all kinds of neat old ones and not just some modern electronic stuff.

I like the old alarms better since most use higher quality materials (metal)

The thing about modern alarms is they actually aren't trying to be very loud because older horns and bells are very loud which can hurt peoples hearing, so a solution to that is making alarms not entirely loud.

You should use the one that got painted as hazmat emergencies or severe weather just a thought

I do prefer the modern horn strobes. But my favorite generation of fire alarms is from the 1990s to early 2000s

Edwards changed there logo from the rectangular lantern logo to the shield logo in 1964 so the Edward’s bell is from ether 1970 to 1989 and the Edward’s circular horns are the old lantern logo pre 1964

@@tots16 And also, my previous school’s fire alarms were the ZeRio box sounders, the smoke alarms/detectors and the heat-alarms/detectors. I think… there were also the strobe ones.
