- Coming up with names is hard. Coming up with acronyms is even harder, especially if you want it to sound like another word. Here are 7 times people clearly came up with the acronym first and worked backwards...

Here's to the acronyms in games so T.O.R.T.U.R.E.D their inventors clearly worked B.A.C.K.Wa.R.D.S from the name they wanted in the first place. Hey, how else are you gonna guarantee your squad, weapon or mysterious corporation has a kickass name? Enjoy!
kanhT ouY rof eht div! (not sure if that makes sense backwards)
Outside Xtra The Geneva convention joke was great.
So... In Ellen's final joke I realized that you guys are also guilty of the same sin. Although Microsoft truly made things a bit complicated when they named the console Xbox.
L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N. and O.W.C.A. from Phineas and Ferb. (Please let there be a P&F game that actually exists...) Respecively they are the League Of Villainous Evildoers Maniacally United For Frightening Investments in Naughtiness and Organisation Without a Cool Acronym. Interestingly, in No-One Lives Forever, the full names of UNITY and HARM are never revealed.
Outside Xtra as a member of the church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (spaghetti never forgetti) I find you calling the mimics of Prey "black spaghetti monsters" offensive.
"What does S.H.I.E.L.D. stand for agent Ward?"
"Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division"
"And what does that mean to you?"
"That someone really wanted our initials to spell out shield"
Nicholas Avasthi shouldn't that be sheiald
Steve Jobs
'and' isn't necessary to add in.
I feel like Steve Jobs should have known that
R. Alley can't you take a joke
You realize it's difficult to tell sarcasm through text, right? I mean maybe you can because you're Steve Jobs, but the rest of us don't have a net worth of several billion, so a little more patience would be nice.

Organised United Team Situated In Deep England... Xylophones Talk Really Aggressively?
Man, this acronym stuff is harder than it looks!
Xenophiles Testify Relatively Apologetically?
Xenomorphs Terrorize Random Areas?
Organised United Team Situated In Deep England Xcited To Review Anything
Xtreme Trouble in Resisting Ancestors?
X-rayed To Recapture Attention
Why didn't they call the vacuum from Luigi's Mansion SUCC? Supernatural Universal Creature Capturer
You know why...
@@harrywithanh Because you're not catching creatures? You're catching ghosts?
Ooh err
My guess is because they knew what kind of fan fiction a name like that would spawn.
Every time you start up a new game you’re just waiting for Dr. E Gadd to give you the SUCC.
These are called "backronyms", and they're a scourge upon mankind.
One of the most painful tasks I ever had as a developer was when a manager would come up with an AWESOME acronym, and then ask us to plug in random tech-words to make it work. Needless to say, there were usually two sets of words for every backronym: The one we put on the documentation, and the one we used in-team to describe said manager.
Have a friend who used to work in tech-support and they had a code for when some manager had caused a problem by sticking their nose where it wasn't wanted or needed. They called that a 1-D-10-T error...
Ouch.
I tried making an actual acronym for a level up system and the closest I got was VESTCPH clearly couldn't go too far because it just being a letter smash at the end.
Vigor (physical strength)
Energy (magical Strength)
Speed (for physical speed)
Tempo (magical speed- btw magic and music are closely related here)
Cover (phydical defence)
Protection (magical defence-need to find a music word for it)
Health... Health.
This was hard enough to get a word in without restraints and now thibking what y'all have to do just hurts.
I would hate that, as someone who has tried to make acronyms gor things before (by thinking of different words that I thought fit the object and then working backwards), I would probably mueder someone if they forced me to make an acronym with only one option of a word.
>Talks about the FEAR acronym
all i can think of is what i think of what FEAR stand for and that is Fuck Everything And Run!
First Encounter Assault Recon
we know lol
I try not to make assumptions :P
How about Face Everything And Rise, by Papa Roach?
Fried earwigs and roaches, anyone?
The best real life example of this is the USA PATRIOT act which stands for "Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act".
I mean come on, really?
I heard they were going to go with Privatised Extremely Naughty Invasive Squad but decided on Homeland Security when someone noticed...
Hey, at least it's not the awful "VOICE" hotline president cheeto came up with.
I don't know that that one is on the level of the examples in the video. It actually doesn't seem all that tortured to me, it actually works as a sentence and an acronym.
My sister came up with a nice one: the Worldwide OsaMa Bin Laden Exterminators. Remember, you're a WOMBLE....
That's actually impressive.
F.L.A.M.I.N.G.O sounds pretty rad tho...
They've definitely got a "leg up" on other birds.
I'd play it.
It's legit better than the original
🦩
It mean flaming long ambidextrous mega insatiable nightmare gangly octagon
laser is an acronym.
Light
Amplification through
Stimulated
Emission of
Radiation
It gets better.
From what I've heard, lasers don't actually amplify, they oscillate (or something). The design team decided to cheat on the name a little for obvious reasons.
I do remember that from 7th grade Honors Science Class
Naþan Ø L.O.S.E.R
@@NathanTAK Yeah, guessing L.O.S.E.R just didn't have the same ring to it xD
@@krukblood-axe3649 IMMA FIRIN MA LOSER
Does the RYNO from Ratchet and Clank count? The super powered rocket launcher with the full name of: Rip Ya a New One.
Well that's just cool.
simongreve I'm not convinced they worked backwards there.
Oh good, I wasn't the only one who thought of that one.
simongreve What did you just say to me?
Also it's a PS exclusive
I want to join the F.L.A.M.I.N.G.O. !
Saibot they have great retirement plans!
Riesenfriese do they have dental?

Kids next door did better than most of these video games xD
Operation F.L.A.M.I.N.G.O.
Hell yeah!!! Lol
@@Penguinwithamonocle To be fair, Kuki came up with most of the acronyms, so they couldn't all be gems (please don't tell her I said that, she'll kill me).
I thought they were funny 👁👄👁
i was in the Army and i got 2
B.M.L.G = Be My Little General, which is a way to remember the General ranks
M.A.R.I.N.E = Muscles Are Required, Intelligence Not Essential
A.R.M.Y = Ain't Ready to be a Marine Yet
M.C.S.S = Marine Corps Crime Syndicate
N.A.V.Y = Never Again Volunteer Yourself
U.S.M.C = Uncle Sam's Misguided Children
W.M.D = Woman Marine, Deployed
best one: M.R.E = Meals Rejected by the Enemy
C.O.A.S.T G.U.A.R.D. = Can't Often Assist Sea Tactics, Gave Up And Returned to Drydock.
A.I.R F.O.R.C.E = Always Inbred Retards Fucking Off with Really Cool Equipment
And I say that as an air force vet who knows a bunch of coasty vets.
I wonder if there was ever one for the USAF. I only heard it called "ChairForce," but never heard an acronym for it.
When I was in the Army the one for M.A.R.I.N.E. was; My Ass Rides In Navy Equipment. Granted this was nearly twenty years ago, but still. Ah, the fun we had~
F.L.A.M.I.N.G.O. is actually a really badass name! Don't let them tell you otherwise Luke !
Flamingos never say die indeed.
We need a shirt.
Pfft ROTFLMFAO no it isn’t 😂🤣😂
Well, there's SpecTRe (SPECial Tactics and REcon) in Mass Effect, whose acronym is so painful everyone just spells it as Spectre.
I bet the original Council races were super relieved when it turned out "Spectre" meant something in early-21st-century English.
Well, maybe that's the point - in their languages (or one of them) it's a nice and simple acronym, but in translation it gets lost, with this awful one taking its place
Jabogers I'd forgotten it was even supposed to be an acronym until they pointed it out in Andromeda
There was a time when it stood for SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion.
[Insert newly-popular Spongebob meme] SpEcTrE
L.O.V.E. and E.X.P. in Undertale. L.O.V.E. stands for Level Of ViolEnce. E.X.P. stands for EXecution Points.
To be fair, LOVE is also abbreviated LV(Level of Violence), and EXP is still a bit painful to look at when it's EXperience Points.
Someone call an ambulance
I get your point, but love is only used as LV and it’s an important part of the story because you think what your doing is right and the only way to survive, until sans has to spell it out for you
@@pinkpusheenpaws I didn't say it was unimportant, but it's still a painful acronym. Because while it's usually only LV it's full form is still LOVE. EXP is also still rather horrendous. They're important, but terrible, acronyms
I was thinking about that, and then realized exp is just experience shortened
You didn't even mention that in TF2 it's the BLU team that pushes the bomb across the map in the payload game mode even though Red team is apparently the demolition team
Red engineers and Blu demomen. Almost as weird as the need for mercenaries in the first place
To me, F.E.A.R. will always be "F**k Everyone And Run".
Peter Parker wait that's not what that means?
MAYHEM. acronyms so bad they hurt Ellens kidneys. Don't end up in hospital again please.
That sly grin from Ellen was perfect for her joke and then the response from Luke/Andy saying don't make that face.. The entire crew is just genius at comedy bits and I've come to really respect Luke and Ellen's contributions to the outsidexbox/xtra writing and acting.
My favourite acronym of all time is the one from Red Dwarf: the Commitee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society!
It's not real.
Tcftlaiotoatr
*Watching the crawl of 'spoilers'*
"Oh hey, Super Mario Sunshine? That's odd"
*First clip starts*
"Nice of you to join us Sunshine"
right?? exactly the same chain of thought for me
James Toomer omg i thought the same thing!!!
and after he said it i was like 'wow what a coincidence'
These acronyms are ridiculous but you should try being part of a military family. There are so many acronyms for various positions and locations that you say more acronyms than actual words.
See Robin Williams in 'Good Morning Vietnam' for a superb example...
"If you can have an entire conversation without using any actual words, you might work in mil int."
Sableagle Jeff Foxworthy... is that you?
"If you're going out for a burger and ask all your neighbours whether they want you to bring them anything, you might work in mil int."
I only know F.U.B.A.R and S.N.A.F.U. What other acronyms are there?
Heres an interesting acronym from real life that would probably sound shit in a video game. Taser. Its actually an acronym for Thomas A. Swifts Electric Rifle.
Yeah, that acronym for MAYHEM *was* pretty painful, and it doesn't even really work that well. I've got a much better one:
Mob of
Ambushing
Yobbos
Hellbent on
Explosions and
Madness.
...Though really, that could just as easily describe the Third Street Saints.
Made me think that MAYHEM is the descendences of Saints Row. Which would explain EVERYTHING.
I mean based on how most players are going to play AOM, that would be more accurate
Sounds a bit British
@@gothnerd887 And thus perhaps a bit too _refined_ for the studio, I suppose.
I had to give this a like for the F.L.A.M.I.N.G.O.s acronym.
How about "Seven Times Video Games Would've Been Easier If It Weren't for Blocked Stairs" like when you had to find a different route because the stairs had blockages in them.
Like literally every place in Skyrim if you have a follower.
The most famous blocked stairs would probably be from 1996...
"X" is used extensively in the US military to abbreviate "experimental" in the designations of prototype/experimental aircraft. For example, the original prototypes of the Lockheed-Martin F-35 went under the designation of X-35.
The "X" in HAWX isn't really odd.
True, the X itself isn't. That still doesn't change how horribly mangled the H.a.w.x. acronym is. Having the X stand for 'experimental' is perfectly reasonable. Using that word in a sentence where it doesn't fit, just to have an X in a word where that doesn't fit is still madness.
Though admittedly the eXperimental Engines Nationless Operations & Protection Squadron has to make do with a less impressive bird family as its namesake..
Given this is a comment for Outside eXtra, I think they know :)
What about L.O.V.E. M.U.F.F.I.N. from Phineas and Ferb? LOVEMUFFIN stands for League of Villainous Evildoers Maniacally United for Frightening Investments in Naughtiness
john smith Two problems with that.
1) Video games, not TV shows.
2) That's meant to be ridiculously bad.
Gray Tiamat187 Yea, I was just joking around a bit and thought that TV show was good with acronyms
john smith OWACA Organization Without A Cool Acronym
john smith That's actually not bad. Way to go Phineas and Ferb.
OWCA. You don't usually include the articles in acronyms, and OWCA is no exception.
what about E.V.I.L which stands for Every Villain Is Lemons. pretty ridiculous if you ask me
Brandon Welsh ridiculous???? how dare you
That one was the best one ever. How dare you insult E.V.I.L
Brandon Welsh best acroynme ten out of ten of ign
Don't you mean *_Rickdiculous_*
this just gave me a flashback to my childhood
GLaDOS. Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System sounds like a pretty suspicious name to be...
That one fits pretty well, given that Glados is litterally a person who's entire being was stored on a disk. Also, I'd be suprised if they started with Glados and worked backwards. Out of context, the world os meaningless, like most acronyms.
KynigosTheWolf Also DOS already existed
Hawx could be spelled
Hawks by doing this...
High
Altitude
Warfare
Knights
Squadron
That actually works much better ^^ Not sure why Ubisoft went for the X though. It's like that game was made in the mid-to-late 90s
strangerdangrrr you would be right I had the game it was really bad.
Then again, Tom Clancy's Hawks makes it sound like he owns a lot of birds
You're a genius
According to Respawn"It's a cool name, it has an x in it" when referring to Apex Legends
Except... X is pretty much always used for Experiment(ation), ESPECIALLY with military technology. SO HAWX makes sense, don't make that face.
What no Special Tactics and Rescue Service A.K.A "S.T.A.R.S from resident evil?
The7thAssassin no because that's pretty close to SWAT and it makes sense
The7thAssassin Nahh, S.T.A.R.S makes sense
That one is actually really good. Using "service" instead of "squad" makes it sound extra legit.
More like, D.E.A.D Dead Extra Alot Dead
Man, Acronyms.
Oh god, remember those kids next door device acronyms? Those were the fucking best!!
Random Awesome OMG YES. We need a compilation of those
"It stands for Battle Ready Armor!"
Patrick Bilbo Oh the nostalgia
Dang see now I have to go watch those again!
Goddamn it now i want to watch it again
What about the D.O.O.M.P (digital-optical output mounted proxy) from metal gear rising? Even Raiden has a hard time with that
What’s so odd about taking a D.O.O.M.P?
One of my favorite parts about videos from Outside Xtra and Outside Xbox is the looks on Ellen's and Jane's faces after they make terrible puns (puns that are some of the highlights of my day when I'm watching one of these videos), when everyone else on set is berating them for the horrendous punning. Keep the puns coming!
>Talks about the FEAR acronym
> Shows gameplay of Project Origin, where the team is all Delta Force, not FEAR
Vladimir Ilyushin 2 wasn't that good either imo
S.F.O.D.D. is the correct acronym.
Jane is just trying to stop you from making FLAMINGO squad since she knows that if you complete it you and your small team of rebel fighters will totally blow up her orbital space station by firing a trickshot into its 2 meter wide thermal exhaust port. The force is strong in you, Luke, this is your destiny.
Blood Dragon should've gotten an honorable mention with this exchange:
“Frankly, anyone who thinks games are bad for you is a f*cking idiot.”
“Woah there Doc! Easy!”
“No Rex. F*ck stands for: Failing to Understand our Capacity for Kindness.”
JUNKER from the Snatcher (aka Policenauts) games on the Sega CD comes to mind; it's the acronym for what your character does for a living:
Judgement Uninfected Naked Kind and Execute Ranger in the Japanese version; Japanese Undercover Neuro Kinetic Elimination Ranger in the English version.
i love ellen's purple hair
VictorIllidan same
VictorIllidan
I love Luke's purple shades
VictorIllidan i like her "bad puns" face
VictorIllidan I just love Ellen
I love her voice it's elegant
What about the SPECial Tactics and REconnaissance agents from MASS EFFECT?
Luckily, the unit name sounded cool in English, and didn't turn out like SMERSH, which sounds more like a cartoon sound effect instead of the original Russian version's more sinister "death to spies".
If they actually go with the proper acronyms it would be STARA or STAR agents depending on how you would see it.
Which if you think about it, would have been a lot less ominous-sounding than SPECTRE, and these agents are supposed to be the super "good" guys. Not to mention that you want to name your government agencies in a way that inspires good vibes in the general public.
THough it does sounds like some kind of flight agency.
5:44 i turned on captions just to see if what he said spelled Flamingo, and im honestly impressed
Recursive acronyms are my favorite half-assed narrative device! Thanks for the video!
what about OWCA? Organization Without a Cool Acronym? or LOVEMUFFIN, the League Of Villainous Evildoers Manaically United For Frightening Investments in Naughtiness? or GROSS from Calvin & Hobbes, Get Rid Of Slimy girlS?
Or the Coalition to Help Throat-Kick Casualties, CHTKC?
Rippertear my thoughts exactly, also literally anything from Kids Next Door
Owca is sheep in polish :)
Same in slovene, spelled a little differently of course, but the pronounciation is probably similar.
I liked the whole "Are you S.P.E.C.I.A.L.?" thing in fallout. Helped me to remember all the skill trees when in a nerd-talk!
"Hello, I represent the National Association of Zoological Institutions, and we're... What? Yes, that's really the name. Change it? Why on Earth would we do that? What? Oh pish-posh I'm sure no one will notice that."
I'll never forget the one for the anti modern tech organisation from GTA: Liberty City Stories.
Citizens United Negating Technology For Life And People Safety.
......What?
I want to rename the "National Office Of Security Enforcement" from Grand Theft Auto to the "National Administration of Domestic Security".
Hahahah
noose lol
Or as I call it, the National Office Of Sexy Enforcement.
Hehe. NADS. laughs in beavis and butthead
Reminds me of E.V.I.L. from Spongebob; Every Villian Is Lemons.
Alec Palmer but every villain is a lemon, because they're sour...
Thank you folks, I'll be here for the rest of my life
Well done Luke, managing to annoy both Mike and Jane at the same time. Now to make some historical inaccuracy and you'll get the hat trick!
Kind of reminds me of ARKS from Phantasy Star Online 2- it stands for Artificial Relict to Keep Species, which is made worse by their space mechs which are called A.I.S., which stands for ARKS Intercept Silhouette, so the full acronym for that one would be Artificial Relict to Keep Species Intercept Silhouette
going back to NASA, they launched Osiris-Rex in 2016, or... Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security, Regolith Explorer
I am leaving to join FLAMINGO...
just let me grab my aviator
7:57 OH MY GOD. I've had that face in my head for like 10 years and I've NEVER been able to remember where it came from! Thank you, Outside Xtra. I am in your debt.
That face after the sticky joke xD
I applaud you, well done!
No Love for Xenoblade Chronicles X? B.L.A.D.E. = "Builders of the Legacy After the Destruction of Earth." Or, for more ridiculousness, the Japanese version gives us "Beyond the Logos Artificial Destiny Emancipator." Tell me they weren't reaching for it with that one!
Hooray! Jane is part of this video! Whoo hoo! :-D
Ellen's purple hair streaks are a nice touch, so whoo hoo to her as well.
@Outside Xtra if you decide to add user suggested terrible acronyms, might I suggest CELL from the Crysis series? CryNet Enforcement and Local Logistics, AKA, the terrible Storm Trooper cosplayers.
CNELL
People Order Our Patties.
Otherwise known as P.O.O.P.
League of Malicious, Arrogant Omniciders
New Intelligence Company Experts.
7:19 I feel you Ellen, it's almost as if they arbitrarily removed the letter 'E' from an actual word in order to retrofit the name for their organisation to a cooler-sounding acronym!
Amirite, Outside *Xtra*?
What about S.T.A.G. from Saints Row: The third?
Special Tactical Anti-Gang Unit. Seriously that's one of the most forced things I've ever heard in a video game. (Besides the "Little friend" assault rifle from Payday 2, but that's a different story)
scat anyone? special cybernetic attack team
Nice to see another oldschool NES gamer in here!
Pretty much anything from Codename: Kids Next Door.
To be fair though, they're like 6 year olds so they still think it's cool. :p
Munch KING I'm 20 and I still think it's cool
Those Kids Next Door acronyms are more creative and cool than anything I could come up with. I mean, Battle Ready Armor? Simple, elegant and awesome.
Rooster teeth did a machinama on F.E.A.R that was called P.A.N.I.C.S. people acting normal in crazy situations.
F Clarke That's a much better acronym
Surprised S.T.A.L.K.E.R. didn't make it on this list, the words in it don't even interact with each other, it just lists a bunch of archetypes that Stalkers fall into lol
Snail Dad is that even official though?
@@supermachine2275 Not sure what you're asking here, but I should really delete this comment, Outside Xbox did a second video where they included S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and now I feel like a clunge for calling them out on not having it lol
the way she says "swat bad guys like theyre bad flies" like it's not even a pun so much as a rhyme but the delivery of it held so much power i actually physically shut my eyes for a moment. is this poetry
The word for an acronym they've worked backwards from is called a Backronym.... I don't know why I know that....
Well, they did literally call it a backronym in the video.
I feel like a fool
should i really mention GEARS of war and their COG soldiers?
Gabriel Marques Coalition of Ordered Governments
Isnt that bad.
not really.
Gabriel Marques what about STALKER
"S.T.A.R.S.!"
- Nemesis
They should’ve just called it HAWKS
High
Altitude
Weaponised
Killing
Squad
Really thought the RYNO from Ratchet and Clank would be on here. "Rip Ya a New One" was less a description of the gun and more an excuse to work that phrase into a kids game if you ask me.
This may well be the first time I've ever been on a video before any comments got posted. I'm sure now that I spent 13 minutes watching it though there are hundreds of comments. I'm still going to savor this moment. Also can we talk about the silly names from Phineas and Ferb like League Of Villainous Evildoers Maniacally United For Frightening Investments in Naughtiness (LOVEMUFFIN)? They made a video game out of it so yes. Yes we can.
Don't think I didn't notice what you did there... (Yes, yes we can.)
My favorite acronym ever:
Federal University of Criminal Knowledge.
Andy booing bad puns never gets old.
Would you count the bot names from Borderlands 2? Like the BNK3R or the XP-Loader bots?
Mechanised eDEN Corporation Helpers a.k.a Mechs - *Just Cause 3, 2016*
... Never saw that coming
Have to give them credit for *Mech-Arena* though
Wow I'm so glad you said HUG at the end there because that was NOT what I heard the first time when I was half paying attention!
Omg love the "GIVE ME A GOD DAMN DEEP DISH!" qoute! 😄😄😄
I'd hug my vacuum, but it's too clingy
Ratchet and clank's R.Y.N.O.
Rip
You a
New One.
Most thing in the military, when still in the experimental stages, or just unadopted, have an X designator added to them. The XM8 assault rifle, the entire line of X series aircraft, it's actually how that acronym would work.
While I have played Team Fortress nearly from the start, I had no idea there were acronyms for the two team "names"
What about the Trauma Center series? There's a sudden outbreak of man-made deadly organisms named G.U.I.L.T. which is short for Gangliated Utrophin Immuno Latency Toxin. I'm sure that acronym was totally a coincidence.
Beat me to it.
3:17 Don't boo the puns, they're awesome
SPECTRE from Mass Effect: SPECial Tactics and REconnaissance
The thing is, they could have just made it STAR...
I half expected F.L.U.D.D to say "does this unit have a soul?"
You know, now i want to see ELLEN (Effective Legendary Lovely Encouraging Novel) with Red hair. Don't get me wrong Purple is cool looking, but red would be awesome.
Platonis The Warlock Wouldn't work quite as well with the Interface colours, although depending on shade it would probably suit her
a book has red hair?
Nothing has struck me more as a backronym than Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey's DEMONICA, aka DEMOuntable Next Integrated Capability Armor. Quite a stretch.
Ellen, you totally pull off the purple hair, and the fact that your shirt matched it in this video was so satisfying. Please wear shirts including purple as long as you keep the purple in your hair. Pls.
The coolest thing about this particular video was the mass effect shirt 🤙🏻🤟🏻🤘🏻
I need a "F.LA.M.I.N.G.O.S never say die' shirt now...
I TRUSTED YOU OUTSIDE XTRA...
THEN YOU DID *THIS...*
1:57
The hybrid humanoid-fighter jet mech , which is the middle mode of the valkyrie from Macross (Robotech) , is called Gerwalk ; which stands for Ground Effective Reinforcement of Winged Armament with Locomotive Knee-joints ... at least according to the Robotech RPG handbooks , read it many many years ago and never forgot it !
Hey, FEAR always could have been worse. It could have been Fast Assault Recon Team (FART).
My favorites have to be Ellen and Luke. Extremely Lovable Lady Everyone Needs, and Lenghty Unholy Knight Extraordinare.
NASCAR:
National
Aeronautics and
Space

Recreation
8:28 finally someone described them as backronyms
Bloons Tower Defense has a couple of examples.
Zepplin Of Mighty Gargantuaness...
Big Airship of Doom?
Bloon Area Denial System (not to be confused with the previous one)...
