GT7 - Top Speed World Record? 800 km/h / 497 mph - Tomahawk X VGT + Setup

- My fastest top speed with the Dodge Tomahawk X VGT and the first and only 800 km/h run I've seen on youtube. So this is a possible world record at the moment. To reach this you need the right setup to make a wheelie and luck to hit the second banked corner in the right angle to hit the 800 km/h right before you crash into the barrier.
Driven with Fanatec CSL Elite PS4 + Clubsport Pedals V3.

i havent played since gran turismo 3 but i love the fact that in this franchise the fastest cars achieve their top speeds by wheelies.

in the cockpit you probably won’t even hear the sound of the vehicle just the wind 😂
You should still hear the sound of the vehicle (which is travelling at the same speed as yourself) but the sound of wind will be very different than the one simulated in the game at super-sonic speed. If what I heard is correct, you would even get a strange "noise" at the moment that you break across the supersonic border.
Fun fact: if you reach 900 km/h the car will be bugged and went silent for some reason, probably the rpm is bugging
@@stormmeansnowork the faster you go the further away you will hear the sound. at that speed you will hear much more behind the car than inside it or in front of it

Yeah right 800kmh would never happen IRL this game and it’s tuning are so unrealistic it’s insane I’ve seen GT40’s doing 379MPH

I love how in GT there is no stutter when going this fast and the whole map already loaded unlike FH5.
Fh5 is an open world this is a closed-off track if you are having stutter problems get an ssd

@@NinaIseriProbably because they are both racing car game. But taken different approach, Horizon takes advantage with open world direction meanwhile Gran Turismo follow their old traditional motorsport in game style design

Have you heard about Jacques Wilson? He recently did the speed glitch with this car (Tomahawk X) and went at 1900+ km/h. He bought the manual transmission and put it on the Tomahawk and did the speed glitch.

Ich finde ab 700km/h ist er schon etwas schwachbrüstig. Ich empfehle bei eBay nach ein paar twinspark Zündkerzen zu schauen.

Didnt work for me .. tried many seetings on youtube claiming over 650km i could pass 600km how come
The tune didn't work for me I top out at 366 mph. I only got 3 mph difference in a way it worked but it didn't.
Did they change something? I tried to replicate this and i could not get above 400 mph
Me too. But mine won't reach over 370 in 4th and when I boost same as yours. Won't go over 400 and definitely won't wheelie.

It would be possible to make but very hard. It probably wouldn't be driveable though since the g force from braking in that thing could probably kill somebody.

@@Potatovoltage the engine it has is probably physically possible however the car is unrealistic because its impossibly light weight and makes a impossible amount of downforce (for the amount of drag it produces)
However i do believe the Tomahawk S and lower models are possible just not the X

It can go faster. In time trial you cannot use the overtake/nitrous feature. Try a arcade race and push faster than this speed

Nah, he is really comparing vision GT str tomahawk to a jdm, it has over 2550hp or almost 2600cv and weights under 2000lb or 900kg w/ 497mph or 800kmh top speed and with an acceleration of 0-60mph or 0-100kmh of under 2 seconds and 0-125mph or 0-200kmh in under 4 secs and 0-250mph or 0-400kmh in under 10 seconds, and equipped with brakes that can make you brake from going 600kmh to 0 in 250 meters and the wildest aerodynamics ever
