This was set up by h&m for their upcoming Netflix documentary, it was their cars that weâre driving erratically. Absolutely disgusting them trying to make money out of his mothers death, there is no depth to the level they will sink to make money, sickening just sickening.

There's no comparison with the Diana incident. She was a private person who had been out to dinner with her partner and WAS being stalked by an army of photographers. She had disposed of her security when she left the royal family and had just one bodyguard accompanying her. Harry and Meghan constantly seek attention and then complain when they cannot control the narrative. Many celebrities in New York just go about their business quietly accepting that they attract more attention than the average person. H & M however, have to go everywhere with fanfare - 4 SUVs and an army of security people - it's like the Presidents in town.......and then they complain!....... and they wonder why they come across as disingenuous.

The driver said a few photographers just pulled alongside and took a few pictures and carried on their way. This wasn't a chase, any more than their trying to outrun an oblivious CitiBike bicycle was a "chase." They already captured their insanity on film for the whole world to see. The driver said this wasn't a chase and he didn't feel in danger, there were FOUR photographers, and this is a horribly disgusting thing to try to take advantage of given that his mother died with a drunk driver because she (1) Got in a car with a drunk driver, and (2) Didn't wear a seatbelt.
Fun fact: Neither Harry and Meghan were wearing a seatbelt. When's the last time you were in a near-catastrophic collision and smiled for a camera instead of buckling up?
The NYPD needs to fine them for the seatbelts and then charge them with filing a false police report. America, the police, and online readers aren't your charity or servants. It's time for you to pay up Harry.
This was orchestrated by a PR team. I wouldn't be surprised if we find out they hired the photographers this week. This is a little league event. NYC hosts Kings, Presidents, Jay-z, and Elon Musk. No one in NYC in that area of NYC is going to be starstruck by a low-rent heiress and his wife. Hell, Diana's crash had nothing to do with photographers either. It had to do with the driver having twice the BAC for driving a vehicle and by the occupants not wearing a seatbelt. How lovely that they failed to wear seatbelts in honor of their "grandma" lol Just stupid people.
The photographer who was interviewed said there was a chase showing the map around New York streets. Watch that video he even put on his hood, I don't know why he did, if he was not really seriously involved.

The only one who was driving dangerously was their own driver. Paparazzi are not armed with shotguns, they have cameras. So you could just stop, lock the car, and call the cops. They made it worse with their hysteric and immature behaviour.

As the cabbie said -- there were photographers following, but he never felt unsafe or that it was a 'chase. One of the photographers said it was H&M's driver that was being erratic, zig zagging etc. I find the timing very suspicious, given his lawsuit over Met police protection - and his continued attempt to manipulate his mother's memory for his own ends disgusting. I feel sorry for William - it must be horrible to have your mother's memory manipulated by your own brother in that way.

Many of us in the US are getting tired of being lied to and manipulated. Harry merching his mother is getting old. This press release seems like a play on that.
I know this sounds tough, but I lost my mother somewhat tragically and suddenly when I was 13. It was rough, but after a decade, I had processed this trauma and moved on. Harry keeps getting a pass because of this one tragedy. He is a middle-aged man. I thought Brits were supposed to be a tough lot. Seriously, it's time for him to move on and get over it.

I'm divorced and didn't see my ex for years, then we got back in touch and are now friends. Someone once asked how can you be friends if you hated each other? It seems that they are deliberately trying to re-create a specific scene. In order to be chased, you have to be running and clearly to try to do that in New York City means the cars that they were in prior to the taxi had to be the ones starting any type of speed that was Accomplished. Itâs ludicrous that a driver who is not totally intoxicated, would actually begin an any speed chase and not just drive at the speed of the rest of the traffic. Additionally, they left in three cars. All they had to do was drive down one of the side streets which are very narrow and full of parked cars and have Harry and Megan in the lead car be first and then the other two cars behind them and all they had to do was stop for 30 seconds the lead car would be long gone, and the paparazzi would be stuck behind the other two security cars, ridiculous situation manufactured to create the illusion of people dangerously pursuing them
You would think if harry was so worried about being pursued..that he would insist on his wife and himself wearing seat belts....after all it was a factor in his mother's death... which he is fully aware of...

Yes this has been going on for far too long certain presenters always making an excuse for them no matter who they hurt or make false accusations against this programme in particular.
While courting the media and being a public figure comes with significant financial benefits and ego gratification, it also comes with it the RESPONSIBILITY to familiarize yourself with local laws and geographic realities and develop a security plan that can accommodate those things. Have these two never been to events in Manhattan or experienced itâs traffic congestion? Do they not understand that choosing to stay in a private residence mere blocks away from the eventâs venue makes it highly likely that the press will be able follow you there? Finally are we really to believe that these two reside in the US but are some completely unaware of our laws regarding the freedom of the press?
As an American I find it rich that the fifth in line to the monarchy of the English throne is so entitled as to come to the United States and expect that we should set aside our constitutional rights to accommodate his feelings.

Although his mother's death was terrible for him, has he learned nothing at all from it? Has he nor learned that when it comes to putting yourself in danger, there's not a lot of difference between letting a drunk driver take you on a fast car chase around Paris and getting into a Yellow Cab with an unknown driver who could have kidnapped them all - or worse - or driven just as dangerously as Diana's drunken driver did??
What the heck were H&M doing getting into that cab? They are the paymasters here and they can say no to their security detail if they are at all unsure and that is exactly what they should have done!
I believe there were 4 SUV's that ferried them and their 6 bodyguards to that nauseating 'Awards' Event ; what the heck were they all doing? Well Harry was bravely overcoming his trauma and photographing it all on his 'phone which we all saw him do, maybe for 2 hours,. Seriously, they are acting like they were being shot by guns, not cameras. So scary, we got into a taxi, so the photographers can get a clearer picture of us. It's just ridiculous.
But H&M's PR people contacted the paparazzi and told them that they were going for dinner after the awards and if they wanted to get more pictures to follow H&M to the restaurant. H&M wanted to make it look like they were being chased for 2 reasons. 1. to help his court case get IPP status and 2. for Netflix content.
Iâve lived in NY Manhattan for a few years, if one happened to drive for two hours in the centre of NY, it is likely because of a traffic jam. Besides, you simply cannot speed chase through the street of NY, the traffic is enormous.

Blacked out windows on the pap mobiles are great for hiding their identities, but are a strange choice because they make it impossible to take photos. The paps were from BACKGRID, Meghan's favorite paps-for-hire. They hired BACKGRID to take romantic photos of them inside their Frogmore home for their doc. BACKGRID does most of their CA pap shots. Why did they exit a black SUV with tinted windows to get into a bright yellow taxi cab? How many taxi cabs did they use because we have seen photos & video of them exiting the taxi cab in front of the Hertz storefront sign and then getting into their SUV? Backgrid issued a statement along with the NYPD. They reviewed witness testimony from 4 freelance paparazzi who were invited to capture images of the couple at the event and at a restaurant after the event. 3 photographers were in cars and 1 on a bicycle. They submitted photographs and videos. What is Meghan Markle hiding? Please show the photos of Meghan & Doria exiting the taxi cab in front of the Hertz storefront sign. They are leading the press to believe they flagged down a taxi at the NYPD precinct. The photos clearly show them at the Hertz rental store. The taxi driver stated he dropped them off after a 10 minute trip around the block. Why did they flag down a taxi at the Hertz entrance when we clearly saw them walk through the paparazzi at Hertz (who they called) and enter their SUV vehicle. So did they ever drive away or did they just sit there until they got a taxi. The taxi driver corroborated what Backgrid Freelance photographers reported in writing--- 1 of their own SUVs was driving recklessly and was blocking off streets. Backgrid reported that their SUV was pulled over by the police. Is there a police report? Why did the taxi pick them up and drop them off at Hertz??? What are they trying to hide?

I hope this will all be shown on the camera footage and will be part of the Police investigation; Their car was driving recklessly and there were only a couple of photographers, but they didn't cause any drama. Also you could see on the phots from them inside the cab, Meghan was loving it and Harry was filming. No one looked concerned.

Check the media reports Mayor NYC stated this and since I live here I am calling this Rubbish. Believe what you want, but the whole think stinks. The cab was not secure and they had to exit their safe ride to get into the cab. It went around the block per the cab driver. Who with any common sense would do that?
