“The police are now saying it wasn’t two hours, it was an hour, and they drove around New York and … you could walk faster than you can drive around New York at that time of night,” she told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

I was born in Manhattan. I grew up in Manhattan and on Long Island. I lived in Manhattan for almost 40 years. There's no F&*@%ing way you can have a car chase in Midtown for 10 minutes, let alone 2 hours. There are police and police cars everywhere. There's always so much traffic around Times Square, it can take you 30 minutes to go 8 blocks in a cab. It's faster walking to get out of the area. New York cabbies are some of the most aggressive drivers in the world. None of them are going to let you cut them off in a car chase. There's too many pedestrians in Times Square. You'd be knocking them over like whack-a-mole. And trust me, as a New Yorker, you'd piss off all of them (there's like at least 20,000 people in Times Square at any given moment that time of night), and they'd all be dialing 911 to get your ass arrested in a New York minute! These liars are basing their story of Manhattan car chases on too many unrealistic Hollywood movies. All New Yorkers are laughing at these fools.

I thought the same thing. Why move from a vehicle with darkened windows and a driver trained to deal with real paparazzi to a taxi with clear windows driven by an untrained person??? For VISIBILITY....that's why.

There is video footage of the taxi stopped in the middle of the road, while the one remaining security officer gets OUT of the taxi to look for Paparazzi to tell them to back off, there are two police cars behind with blue flashing lights BUT when the taxi moves off they turn right suggesting the taxi was actually blocking the path of two police cars attending an incident somewhere else. It’s absolutely disgraceful!
More information is coming out now from the Paps and the place expecting them for a dinner reservation who are saying it was a set up as the paps were told to follow them as they would get shots of them going into the restaurant. Backgrid has come out furious so Meghan has probably lost her paps on dial now 😂

The trip took 20 minutes according to reports. They used a cab because the windows are clear and they could be seen, which was the whole purpose of this exercise. Pictures show Harry filming, Meghan smiling and Doria snoozing - nothing to see there! I hope the police find something to charge them with because these two lunatics need to be held to account. I think they were driving up and down looking for photographers, when they did not find any they got out of a blacked out car and into a more visible vehicle ( taxi). One 10 minute drive around the block, the taxi drive says there were three photographers, (one on a bicycle) who took photographs and then they went out of the taxi. That sounds to me like they did not get enough attention, there weren't many people outside the award venue when they left. We need to see the police footage. Who was chasing who, is the question.
