@@MyTEEsharp1 probably around 9-10k installed (lift is around $3k then wheels and tires probably another $3k) especially at this shop. If you did it all yourself probably around $6,000-$7,000.

I really think Chevy made the nicest looking trucks with these years.
Ford and Dodge both did fantastic no doubt. Ford giving us basically the Atlas which is truly a beautiful truck. But those chevies just look so right to me.

9" for 35s? Lol I have 6.5" lift with 22s wrapped with 35 nittos. Def need 37s. Daddy would've paid the extra bucks
I'm a truck guy I drive a Ford but I love this truck. I will give props to any truck as long as it is bad ass like this and many others.

South Texas I totally agree. I work for my stuff too. It's just hard to make that assumption about people based off a short video. That's all I'm saying. Who knows what that kid is doing back home.
I know what you're saying South Texas and Im the same way. I was given the family work truck which is a 2005 GMC Sierra Pro Sport when I started to drive some 5 years ago. I did my best to take care of it and still do. I am buying basically the same exact truck but with 4wd soon hopefully but I still get some high school ricers talking shit about my truck and its the funniest thing. This kid thinks he's hot shit because he actually paid for his shitty 1995 Subaru Impreza wagon that is rusted up and is absolutely pathetic. He tried the Daddy's money bullshit on me and yes, my dad bought my truck. back in 2005 new. It was a handmedown and it was up to me to keep her clean. To this day she's rust free and has low miles. I actually made a video on youtube about it. When I am going to buy the same truck I have in cash, the Daddy's money argument is just a pathetic attempt at throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks. I have my fair share of haters but my haters are ricers in high school that own cars that lower the property value of their neighbors. I think that bragging that you paid for your own car when its a shitty lemon is stupid. I don't know what my point of this whole comment was lol.
Sounds a lot like jealousy. Who cares if the truck was given to him? If you had the luxury of having parents well off enough to do this for you, you wouldn't be complaining. And I'm betting if you were well off enough, you'd do the same for your children.

It does matter. It shows he doesn't deserve it and I hope he crashes it. And his parents are not good parents for giving him anything he wants, make them work for it or they won't respect it. They will just expect everything to be handed to them including the maintenance, repairs and customization in the video, even the gas to drive it and insurance.

Very nice build, I have 2018 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 4x4 with a 7 in. Rough Country Lift Kit , 20×12 Method Racing Wheels and a 35×12.50×20 Falken Wildpeak M/T 01 and I love it , I had to Save and do Overtimes to achieve it ...
What's your offset? Did you have to do any trimming?
I run this exactly same kit in my 17 but I upgraded the rear shocks to fox 2.0 and it rides like a dream mcgaughys makes a bad ass looking kit and great ride quality

Does anyone know how they got the lightbar behind the grill? I have the same truck but mine has the active grill shutters. I dont know of anyone that has been able to fit a light bar behind the grill with the shutters in place.

My co Worker lifted his 10” and put on 37” tires and can’t afford to drive it now lol. The gas is way too much. Poor guy. Think it cost him 15 grand

I'm just finding your video. Nice job. Do you do renovation with modifications?? I have 1996 chevy Silverado z71 k1500 rusted chassis and I want to transfer to a new chassis plus do a 6" lift with largest all terrain/all weather tires. And few more custom mod.
Crazy you have to go that high on gm products to fit 35’s and -44.... but sick truck!
Cody Hayden you can fit 35’s on 3.5 inch lift one stock wheels with a little trimming
Austin Jones that sounds good I’m not hating 😀 it’s just seems Inconvenient due to the fact on my ram 1500 you could fit 12 wides and 33’s with no rub no trim on a leveling kit

Cody Hayden you can do 12 wides and 33’s on a level on the 14-18 model Silverado’s and steer lock to lock with no trimming no problem the rub isn’t nearly as bad as some people say imo
I read that this brand of lift sits lower than it gets set at. He's probably closer to 6"

@customoffsets I'm running 20x12.50s on my 18' Silverado if I did a -44 offset in the front what offset would I need to have the rear tires poke the same?
You would want same exact specs front and back for the same amount of poke

Well,, it’s better to waste your money on this stuff than sitting in a bar every night but,, what about gearing changes? Don’t this effect the transmission when you put on bigger tires? How is gas mileage effected ? I’ve sorta been wanting to do a lift too, but I like a smooth ride
It all depends on what size lift you go with. Best bet is to ask forums or local truck groups!

Custom Offsets, I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71. How do I know if I have active grille shutters? I am interested in buying a light bar similar to the one in the video but I want to make sure it will fit.
If you look behind your grill, it will look like a set of blinds is back there. quite obvious!
Anyone have a review on these tires? I’m looking at getting same size. But have seen mixed reviews. Any help @customoffsets
Gladiators are a good off-road tire, however they have been known to wear down faster than usual after a lot of on-road use. Check them out here!

Great looking tire. But they do wear down fairly quick. Had mine about a year and the tread is considerably lower. But tons of compliments and looks aggressive as hell
Id cut the shit out of everything to make 38s fit on that lift. Wheels look kinda small.. But then again its a 45k + truck compared to my 2k 99 z71
Anyone running these tires? Unsure if I should stick to toyo MT or buy something cheaper. They look very aggressive so I like them but not sure if the hum will be to obnoxious and annoying

Custom Offsets. Did he get the upper control arms as well? I'm planning on buying the same lift. But it says its recommended to get the upper control arms to set it at 9 inches.
Correct it is recommended to get the upper control arms due to balljoint angles with that kit

Anytime you change ride heighth,rim diameter and tire size regearing is a must.Also you should beef up the susoension for the new weight,wheel travel etc.They really should always go hamd in hand

Custom offset....I have the same truck, same lift, however we couldn't fit the driver side compression strut because of the exhaust. Did you guys have the same issue, if so, what's the fix? Also , did you guys remove the front grill louvers to fit that light bar? Thanks!
Some lifts do require modifying the exhaust! As for the grill if you have the air louvers, you'd have to remove them!
How's the turning radius? I have the same kit on my 09 with 20x12's and 33's cant hardly make a uturn anymore
