I'm surprised nobody's talking about that Danza. Had a full 2-3 levels on hachi after doing nothing but split pushing and still died, and it seemed like he was just feeding that hachi into orbit. Not to mention getting mad at the Nox for not being around when they had 2 phoenixes down and he wasn't bothering to help push those back, and dies immediately after the fire giant goes down (without helping)

Itâs better to get the 1 maxed quicker for the AOE
@@Tyler-rh8mu The lvl 1 is maxed at lvl 13 regardless if you put a point in it at lvl 8 or not.
@@alaineninmah7040 You can have it maxed at 12 if you skip a point in the ult. Which can arguably be better for the aoe root compared to the 100 extra damage of the ult. It hardly matters as its a 1 level difference but I tend to do it.

This was quite the watch. The things said about the build and things that he was doing it definitely things I agree with and do (love running at people to get them to burn skills and leap back with the 3 safely) but I definitely did learn some new things.
Watching this makes me want to take my Scylla game to the next level becuase she is just oh so fun. Though Ix Chel has been my favorite god release currently.

Had a ne zha insta lock last night as support and tried to trade jungle and got upset when I didn't. Went full damage and missed every ult and ribbon, then blamed me for not switching when we lost
Itâs even worse when they just decide theyâre the role they want, and hijack your lane/the jungle, and then try to blame the team when they donât frag

I only recall dodging a ranked queue when getting support once and itâs because I got lane partnered with an adc that was HYPER toxic the game before. And even after blocking him in-game got into the lobby with him right after.

I come back and watch this game from time to time. Such a nail biter and Scylla is my favorite god even though for most of my time playing smite I have leaned into carry mostly. But Iâm trying my hand a mid and itâs been going well and playing a lot of Scylla of course. Hell yeah good stuff!

The behavior of that Baka is how Iâm in Elo Hell. That on top of people who d/c or rage quit. Thereâs no way anyone is gonna tell me that my rank doesnât suffer when I play uneven games like that all the time. Iâm also one of those people who only likes ranked so imagine the frustration.
But this isnât unique. Itâs very hard to prove(it not impossible)that somehow you get more feeders/leavers than anyone else. Everyone at every rank gets these players.

I was lucky enough to get included in a random team tournament hosted by fineokay and pandacat a couple years ago. Somehow I got put on a team with stallone and he absolutely carried to the finals (we got second sadly) while I fed my brains out in solo. Heâs a goat for sure

When I'm playing by myself I never really voice my stress, but when I'm playing with people or communicating with someone while playing or if even somebody is in the room while I'm playing it increases my anxiety to voice my stress.

I have question though. Are starter items essential? I feel like you could get more overall power by starting with an item that isn't a starter, but at the same time, it seems to vary.
In Conquest starter items are a must, they are just too good. There has been a few random builds that pop up where people don't build a starter but vast majority of the time you will need and upgrade your starter. The only exception is Hunter pen builds tend to sell their starter late game

I have been ranked play eligible for years. But i dont play it because i know i wont get anywhere just copying builds. Because ive been told you need to build in game and in accordance to the enemy.
This reminds me of play calling in madden which im excellent at. But thats because i have a football background. Lifetime of basic football knowledge.
Smite is the only game of its type ive ever played. And is its own thing in general. I simply need to understand the items at a basic level if they can be.

So Iâm a Scylla main and Iâve always leveled her 2 to level 5 asap then 1-3-4. With her passive leveling the abilities to level 5 is the same as leveling her ult almost except you have that extra power with the 1-2 as well

@@tristanhull9388 Usually if one of the skills is the main dmg, you can also not level anything at 8 and level both the 2 and ult at 9.

Iâm number 1 with a god by a wide margin but I donât use the god in the âcorrectâ role. Iâm curious if I do good because itâs a good idea or if im just better than everyone else with that particular god in my rank tier.
Wouldnât it just make sense for them to make a rank system where u match up with other people who wants a different role, so there is no overlap and no one is forced into a role.
The people want more attacking roles disproportionately though so it would take forever to find games if they had no fills

I have always wanted a selectable option to be auto re q'd if yoi dont get the role you want so youre not forced to play a game you dont want and so your teammates dont suffer. What are yall's thoughts.
I don't like the current system but I don't think this would work, might just get a never ending loop of re q if this happens. Just make the queues longer who cares if it's 2mins or 5 mins, the match takes around 30min anyways, so 30min of suffering a role you hate vs waiting for 2more min in queue is much smarter
These types of games where its a lot of back and forth to me can sometimes be the most fun but also the worst

Kinda late but f it. I usually play supp anubis or Guan yu and just build damage. Me and my carry end up getting tower by 3 mins, and sometimes one of them leaves, late game we win boom boom. Only 12 minutes

think so, cooldown start usually trades off a lot of power and scylla has a harder time confirming

Personally im fine with dual junglers. I also accept all trades and consequently usually end up playing support so the supp doesnt dodge, but meh. Especially in lower ranks, pure damage teams work way more than it should. Especially if the gods have solid cc. Meh.
As an edit, i usually play horus supp, or a guardian. Lol. Im fine with damage supports though when i end up mid or carry or whatever. đ

I don't agree on the damage supp perspective. Supp is a specific role that doesn't come down to only tanking. It depends on the team. A decent team can win with a damage supp anytime. Barely any game I have lost came down to somebody not tanking enough.

I've only tried Smite a couple of times back when it first came out, but I was curious about one of your statements. You stated supports do not build damage, supports build tanky and tank damage or prevent damage. You also followed up saying things about changing the meta / statistics. So, by what you are saying, are all support Gods tanks? If so I'd find that fairly boring. I've played League of Legends for several years off and on, my main role was support. Within league you have various support types, ones who buff the team, CC supports, Poke (dmg) supports, Tank supports, and Healer/ hybrid based supports. Leona (Tank/ CC), Zyra(poke/dps/CC), Nami(Heal/Poke/CC), the list goes on. I had 5 "main" supports I did play, besides potential bans/ enemy picks, ADCs had a preference of support types, sustain, passive, harass, aggressive ... @7:30 in the video is when you start talking about it. I could understand if what you are saying is this God is supposed to be a tank and someone builds dps on it... that would be trolling. Things of that nature. Like I said though I don't play Smite. Things are probably different in this MOBA. I've been thinking about picking it up, mainly thanks to your videos. Thank you for the videos, I've been eating it up. Great work!

If you play support and get the highest damage, you didn't do your job. That made me feel better about how I play baron Samedi. Im newer to the game, I've played a mobile game of this style though. So im learning pretty quick. But i was playing baron as damage at first, then I recently started to switch it up and he feels better. He was already really fun. But, add some supportive items and he feels much better.

Ok i understand the 'dont troll as a role' bit and do think it needs to be punished, but i also think hirez needs to add a better matchmaking system to not get roles u dont play, youve said it yourself before, players play one role really good and thats it. Even the spl players dont swap roles between games. I'll say it like that because I've also had games where literally my 5th role (literally least fav) is given to me 5 games in a row, meanwhile im seeing the same 2-4 players that have played a role bad cause a L get their desired role. I'd rather wait an entire 2 queues to get a desired role over forced into a game.

Basically it means hitting abilities that usually follow a root or hard crowd control, which would normally guarantee the ability lands, without using the root/cc, free aiming pretty much. In this case for Scylla it would be landing your 2 (the circle ability) or your ult without rooting them in place with your 1 first to guarantee the hit. It varies depending on the God youâre using

Not gonna lie whenever I play smite I try to avoid support and jungle they have to much responsibility in my opinion when playing the other three I find it's literally just hold lane and push when possible that's so much easier then planning rotations staying on top of camps ganking and so much more a good jungle and support have full control over every match

I gotta point out the fact when you say most people wanna play ranked on smite you are incorrect, 95% of smite players have not played a single ranked match, mentioned in smite 2s reveal by Hi Rez & Titan Forge. love all the content though keep it up! My opinion on getting bamned for playing goofy builds is that it would be good for higher ranks where everyone knows what theyre doing, but it would be terrible for the trashcan players.
Im basically new to smite and ive only really played arena. If i was to try to get into playing ranked i could get reported in probably half my games as im usually just buying random items that seem good and i dont even know what gods are used for support, jungle, etc.
Going a damge support is viable this season because of the come back mechanics. Either you smash early and make people rage quit (get a 4 level lead by 10 minutes), or if you fall behind, you play for the late game picks and rush Titan. It's not going to guarantee wins, but if everyone knows how to play around it, it makes for fun toss-up matchs, as this game shows. It definitely makes the game harder but more interesting. Honestly, it might become more common.
This support went full damage, so his teammates went tank and had to make up for him role avoiding. Full damage support is not a thing. Anyone telling you otherwise is ignorant
