Disney was trading at nearly $200 a share in March 2021 and has been consistently dropping, even as low as $78 in October 2023. That is disastrous and I’m not sure it can drop any faster than that.
It has rebounded somewhat and is at $99 now, but never underestimate Disney’s power to lose investors money.

In good old times when movie producers had ties with crime lords people like that Acolyte "creator" would be blamed for loss of fortune spent on this crap. They would not be paid 35 mil , as I hear she is (for what exactly?). They would be given a proposal one can't refuse and would have to return lost money. Plus they would be never heard of again, I think.
Still, one could be excused thinking that despite terrible reactions by fans, and thus fiancial losses each of those flops must deliver in Disney accounts, that despite all this negativity head honchos of Disney are making a lot of mony an each flop, since they keeep repeating the same want we think are mistake. Perchaps to them this is great recepie for success.
I mean Acolyte is a flop, and no mistake, and certainly lost a lot of that 180 mil budget money, but we have to remember that those millions didn't just dissapear when the first episode aired. They just changed hands. Those millions certainly don't show in production values of the show; it looks cheap, effects are like from something made 20 years ago, director, writers and actors aren't the most affluentiel names in Hollywood, hence they aren't all that expensive... so where did the money go? Perchaps to the pockets of those who made strange decisons okeing this crap? If this is a case would it really surprise anyone that Disney people keep doing what they do, making flop after flop and cashing up on each of those? No matter the backlash?

I hated what I have seen of that Lightsaber fight.. And the Lightsaber itself.. Lightsabers AREN'T Built that way..
A pull apart Hidden Blade lightsaber like that isn't really possible..
The Lightsaber is a Plasma blade.. it requires Mechanical components that can't really be changed in size to make them smaller..
Even a LightDagger would have had the same size of handle..
Power source, Emitter, Focusing Lens, crystal.. These things take size...
You can't just power them with "magic" They have parts
