This is really true. I had nothing against him a while ago but after his overly emotional display (he showed genuine anger whilst talking during the press conference) and also his psychotic staring into the cage when Alex beat Jiri, the guy needs to really calm down, its making it very hard to like or respect him. He is haemorrhaging fans right now because of this ridiculous behaviour. Granted MMA social media is one of the worst internet corners (people can be extremely nasty to both fighters and eachother) but still, he needs to take Rogans advice and stop reading comments. Earn your fans by performance, not by clowning around on the socials.

Ankalaev got offered a title fight two separate occasions. He wanted to wait till October to fight in Abu Dabi on his terms. Alex didn't want to wait, plus he's champion, challenger doesn't call the shots. Ankalaev didn't want to fight, so he gets skipped over. It's not rocket science.

Honestly after seeing how he dealt with Hill. I don't see why Alex couldn't get that Heavyweight title. Which would be fucking insane you would have to call him the GOAT if that happened.
Volk was riding high on his featherweight win streak, seemed invincible, then he went up a division and got KO'd, now he's been KO'd again in his own division and seems far away from the belt, still recovering his dual concussions. It's a huge risk going up, it can change everything and take away what he has built up. Big heavyweights hit hard, and they aren't just 10 lbs heavier like the lower divisions, these guys can be 60 lbs heavier. Pavlovic, Aspinall, Blades, Volkov, Gane are big lads that hit hard and can walk through a few shots to land a big shot or take Alex down, then it's a different game, Alex on the ground with a 265 lbs heavyweight on top usually won't end well. Just being real.
