Between Toy Story, Home Improvement, The Santa Clause and Galaxy Quest Tim Allen was a staple of my childhood.
Yes. One of the few people from my childhood who hasn't gotten #MeToo'd and lost his entire career.

Lmao they keep talking about how "kids" will know Tim Allen as Buzz, but people who were 6 in 1995 when Toy Story came out are now 30.
To the mainly senior citizen audience who watch this show, 30 is still a kid.

@@gerulata7722 of course they are, but the way the voiceover said it made it seem like it was only kids who know Tim Allen primarily as Buzz, which just... isn't true. I'm in my 20s and that's how I best know of him.

Tim Allen is the perfect example of not condemning someone for making a poor choice in life. The man spent time in prison, but has emerged one of the best humans in the world. Thank youTim for making us all smile and laugh!

Home Improvement is the tv show of my life. I give everything I have to spend a day at the set properties that Tim collected.
I especially thought it was funny when a felon drug dealer, later in life, tells people not to speak Spanish.

0:48 That's where my love for Tim Allen came from, I was a huge fan of Toy Story growing up and I still am. Buzz Lightyear was and still is, my favorite role of Tim's and he will continue to be for Infinity and Beyond.
Tim Allen has brought such joy to my eyes as Tim the "Tool-Man" Taylor, Scott Calvin, the Santa Clause, Luther the Skipping Christmas man, Dave the Shaggy Dog, Mike the Last Man Standing, and most of all Buzz Lightyear. May he and his family live long together, for infinity and beyond. God Bless.

Love his Santa Clause movies and love him in Zoom. I really didn't watch much Home improvement like a friend of mine who has some seasons on DVD. I always watch Zoom when it comes on TV even if I know it by heart. LOL. I have all of the Toy Story movies and plan on getting the new one when it's released on DVD.

Tim Allen is just amazing. I'm happy for him for what he is doing now. I grew up to this man. And it's wonderful that he loved Home Improvement and for keeping the props from the show. I'm happy that he did Buzz Lightyear. Here's a fun fact, Billy Crystal was the original Buzz. Because he thought the movie had no potential and didn't think it would be big, he gave the part up. I'm glad it happened this way. The movie was a huge success, and Billy was so regretful that he gave up the part. But him being Mike Wazowski was better. Even though Tim lost his dad young, he still kept going. I hope Tim does more.

The voice cast for the toy story films couldn’t have been more perfect, so many of us grew up with the films and they mean so much to us, I’m glad to hear that even film 4 is a major success once again. I also struggle with excess and alcohol, glad to hear the human side of him
