- In this fun portrait photography experiment to recreate the vibe of some late 1990’s early 2000’s hip hop videos, photographer and creative director Ricky Shoebio primarily uses the new Lindsay Adler Color Portrait Kit. He wanted to see how much of this look he could recreate using only 4 PavoTube II 15C tube lights and a single Forza 60C full-color LED spotlight. Then, inspired by the Busta Rhymes video for Woo-Hah!! Got You All In Check, which was directed by Hype Williams, Ricky incorporates a Forza 300B II LED Spotlight with a PJ-BM Projection Attachment to cast the shapes of stars on the backdrop. Throughout the video, Ricky shares his favored techniques for shooting dark skin tones.
