They likely don't care or have one of the most incompetent product management and development teams seen in the modern online gaming era. Simple shit like rate-limiting, bounds-checking (no more than 9 unique players reporting), and stripping of sensitive info like SteamIDs. This is basic defensive- and security-minded programming. Security through obscurity (forced by spaghetti code) doesn't work.

They actually look up for those services and study them. They reverse as far as i know.
ML is a game changer but they do spend time looking for things up. They can fight against 1 centers(in U.S.) but they can't fight against many hackware developers around the globe.
How to fix Overwatch system (and why it probably won't work):
- Strip profile meta data from demos, make them fully anonymous server-side before download
- Replace all skins with default ones to avoid cheaters using skins as leverage against a conviction
- Give an option to review the full match demo (including other POVs) for inconclusive/marginal cases, especially ones that technically fit a griefing conviction, but could be excused with full context (like lobby information as well)
- Allow flagging/reporting of other players in the same match from within the Overwatch case
(technically cheaters could create their own database of demos and cross-reference their own matches with Overwatch cases based on demo data and manipulate the algorithm with their OW bots that way)
nah don't strip skins, it's good indication if they don't have skins and don't strip meta data, I need those for my analysis and to see in thirdperson if a legit cheater uses legit aa too
How to Fix ow VAC AC, Buy a Face it one or ESEA, Valve got the money certainly got the devs! why can't they do it! because they think we are potatoes we keep buying skins and cases, so they are making money why would they change anything...
Technically you'd be able to "print" a hash with mouse movment to identify matches, way less storage required.
I have skins and im legit. But because of my experience on the game I tend to be able to read players pretty well so it seems like im walling. I feel as if my skins protect more more from being falsely banned.

Report bots: Why would valve allow reporting from accounts that were not in the same game as the target? Should be a very simple task for valve to check and prevent. It is not "voodoo" 😁
most of the cheater play with full team so they get like 5 reports from one game it isn't enough to get into overwatch and there comes reportbots if u have private/paid reportbots u allow to report someone more then 5 times which give you more chance to get cheater banned
blocking reportbots=more cheaters cuz they can play 2 matches from which they gonna get only 10 reports then wait 1 day and play again 2 games and still have high chance to don't get into overwatch
Valve should improve report system if u get 5 reports u automaticly should be in overwatch not after 11 reports or copy some stuff from source mode anti cheat which detect aimbot/backtrack/antiaims and gets cheaters ban
reportbots are useful but there is some retarded people who use it to bad things
I use reportbot i never used it to report ppl who afking or grefing in my game but only to ppl who obv cheat even in my team

@@haippics Vac have problem to even detect free cheat. popular ez frags was updated on: 4th Jun 2020 and i still can see ppl who use it on mm and vacnet is just dead it was detectin aimbots and some of obv backtracks when it release but now u can have 300ms backtrack and still not get detection u can spin on 1 mm and it wont detect it then in next day u can play another game on spin

I didn't played cs for a couple of months and started playing again last week. Out of maybe 15 games at least 6 of them had cheaters in my team or the enemies team (I watched the demos). I think it got worse in the last couple of months.

I just want to clarify that the window hack he talked about at the end only works if your q'd with that teammate. You can't just put a window on anyone.

I played a match a match with a friend and did hella good and someone from the enemy team reportbotes us, how do we know? we got another friend of us for the next match and he said he sees the low trust factor message in chat with red... took one 1 week to get back in green and it was hell at the beginning since we got against some really shady people, pretty fair what can i say, you get from green to red with 1 match and vice-versa within 1 week

Bengt I got 5 spinbots in global mm for 2 games in a row then only 1 cheater on enemy team and he reported me then got 2 spinbots on enemy team then 3 cheaters and now again spinbots
There was the guy who, i guess knew that he is about to get VAC, sold his entire inventory to me friend. My friend got red TF after getting the items from his inventory. He wasn't even VAC at time of trade. System really is unfair. He had to re-create his account and say good bye to all skins he bought.

I got banned 3 days ago from CS GO for going word to word with an obvious hacker on a competitive enemy team. It is SAD to see this game getting worst and worst day after after day. hard to enjoy it nowadays with the number of cheaters on it. Not worth spending money on skins cause one day you will find your account banned cause the system is faulty.

I have a friend that cheated in 2 games 1 year ago and he got banned yesterday with a 200$ inventory. The difference of time is weird, right ?
This is kind of gut wrenching to see. As someone who actively work through a lot of OW cases every day, and keeping track and statistics doing so .. it all feels so futile. My dataset ha gotten quite big, and i have come across a lot of weird cases, especially where it’s obvious the player is good, clean and has been rage reported, like when i encountered voo in a case. Veru frustrating and i really think Valve HAS TO LISTEN to input from the community in order to right these wrongs.

Literally just wait a few weeks and I'm sure there will be a huge revamp to overwatch soon. And they're also definitely working on vac too. I know its not perfect and trusted mode does fuck all, but its a step closer.

10 months late but as far as I remembered this never ever worked. Report system would give a valid report ID after report but wouldn't count it in. Sadge.
I have noticed recently, that I am getting significantly less Overwatch XP bonuses while doing more and more obvious cases while at the same time also getting matched with more and more obvious cheaters and trolls/leavers. Up until a few weeks ago, I can't remember ever having more than one obvious cheater in a given match. Trust factor was working quite well most of the time (I don't mind subtle cheaters anymore, I just take them as a challenge to develop my anticipation skills, like playing vs an unnaturally consistent training bot). If there was an obvious one, everyone would report them and they would be banned a few days after. In the last 20 or so matches, things changed drastically. I had multiple matches with 5 totally obvious cheaters (yes, literally all 5) on the opponent team, at least 3 of them were a premade lobby and I got matched with them back to back. Other times it was a 4 or 5 man lobby rank boosting with 1 or 2 cheaters. I also got several matches where there were cheaters both in my team and the opponent team. It really is the worst it has ever been in the history of Counter-Strike right now. The worst cheaters often have "legit" looking accounts much like my own (from around 2003).

really sad seeing this, just got reminded that steam won't do a shit to get me unbanned more than ignoring me...
I guy that knows this shit about Vac an other stuff told me even if you didnt cheat you will not get the unban back fells bad i lost a 200 € inventory

A month ago i decided to test something. Me and a friend downloaded a free cheat (Osiris) and said we'll use it until we get banned. Some games we were blatant if the enemies were good or cheating, some we tried to hide it more when the game was easy. However we never lost a game after that. We were mg1 and mge on those accounts. 2 weeks later both global elite along with 3 friends we boosted to supreme and global. Around 70 matches win streak and no vac ban, no overwatch ban. Cs:go is really broken.

@@abhinavnishanth4538 because valve can't do shit about them with their current moderating system. Basicly the cheats have advanced so much that they have zero fear over what's valve gonna do. The cheaters can control almost everything. After this vid he might get banned personally by valve, never by the csgo community. But he will have his skins cashed out by then

A few days ago already...
Even if i get unbanned, i will never touch such a badly managed game again. This should never have been possible. Valve should never make system so easily exploitable. Im really ok with some glitches ingame that cause some broken exploits for a short while, but when it gets alot of people wrongly banned, its just unacceptable.

same happened to me, got overwatch banned couple of days ago without any reason... i just had a low trust factor even tho i put money in steam, bought games, items, crafted badges for level.. etc..
