“Let’s Dance” is a phenomenal song and a phenomenal album. PHENOMENAL.
Yeah he sold out, but the fact that 'Lets Dance' and 'Modern Love' exists makes up for it.
He wrote the rise and fall of Ziggy stardust, I'm happy with that. Bowie was incredible and he probably thought different of himself most musicians do

What a brilliant Man he was. It’s a tragedy he’s no longer here with us.
i saw someone else say this at one point but they said “david bowie didn’t die, he just went back to mars” and i think it’s really beautiful and funny because he truly was to good for this world
I cried when we got the sad news that we lost him! Sucks
I know. I hated it.
I had a swineflu at that time, and i was barely conscious because the fever was so high.
Let me tell you, news from his passing didnt make me feel any better so i spent like 2 weeks alone at my home in feverish David Bowie psychosis.
Well it was an experience.
Took me a couple of more weeks to recover physically but few more months i was kinda off the rocker. the virus itself was rough enough for my brains because of the fever and Bowie dying fried them.
But his music lives on, nobodys gonna take it away from us 🎶💙

The interview @5:42 is probably the reason David changed his image and came up with difference characters/persona for himself.
No, that interview is late 70s. The personas (Ziggy, Alladin Sane, Halloween Jack, The Thin White Duke) was all before this interview took place. At this point David Bowie was pretty much himself on and off stage.

Jesus, I just figured, it's been 35 yrs. ago I saw his 1st movie in Westwood ( So. Cal ). The Man Who Fell To Earth, I remember it was a good movie and he didn't sing. As far as I can remember. Crap I'm getting old. (68) better go apt. hunting at the cemetery.
