I stayed at Oakwood Residence for one week to check the vibe and I must say it's on my list of areas of Bangkok I would love to live if I would move over some day. If you walk about 100 meters further of the Starbucks 11:07 and turn right, there is a lovely neighborhood that if you keep walking leads to Benjakitty park.
She stated in the beginning that she's lost... just walking around.

Great effort on the pilot episode of the vlog. appreciate the time and effort by Joyce and also the video editor who cut the edit. the vlog will probably take a couple of the episodes to find its footing and get more views and the right target demographics as time goes. Suggestion to trim the duration to 8 - 10min duration with faster pacing. Overall good effort!

This series should be called WALKING BANGKOK WITH JOYCE! I like this format. I think Joyce should be her funny self like in her own channel. She seems more serious in this vlog. Regardless, I like it! I'm sure this format will get better and better.
My wife and i been to Thailand several times and will be going again next month for another 2 weeks. Never had street food and probably will never have. Having food in the open all day in the heat even though it is going to get cooked later is just asking for a possible very bad food poisoning. My wife does the same thing, cleaning the top of a soda can before opening it.

Street is perfectly fine. Myself, my mother, aunts, uncles, and all the generations before you and me have been eating street food. The younger generations are developing stupid allergies to things like Peanute and Soy Sauce because of not building the immune factors that allows my mom and grandma live to the age of 90 and beyond and who are still eating street food today

@tantan-pd9si - Relax! It's a pilot and it usually starts a bit rough while it finds its footing. The hit series SEINFELD was almost canceled because it was considered aimless and plain but you saw how that TV series performed.

Good idea on being lost but some how not delivering right, not a good one. Perhaps plan ahead of a few shops stop and talk to owners or employees . It seems all about her n watching her running out so breath , need to film surrounding more than all about her . Sorry to say .

Hmmm... I prefer curated videos where we learn tips and tricks from a local, rather than a long vlog of rambling thoughts and no particularly useful information. Still like your channel but will be more careful before clicking on future videos in case they are also rambling.
Everyone complaining about this video obviously didnt listen in the beginning... she stated this vlog is like if your lost walking around aimlessly.... I loved it... shes funny, and has alot of great energy.... also easy on the eyes.

I understand that all of you behind this channel are basically just kids but this idea of pretending to be lost in Bagkok, when you are obviously not, is a major disaster. And you are planing a series about getting lost, seriously??? A video like this one is absolutely useless from the point of what this channel has brought so far to the people and that is - something new from locals that tourists would have a difficult time to find out about. And Joyce is not a local, she's from another continent across the ocean! Also, Joyce is just walking and rambling around without absolutely any point: 1:40 She's lost but she knows she's heading to Soi 24 😂 and that she is passing next to Benjasiri Park??? 2:35 'Oh, and then you pass by food stall. You pass by a lot of street food. This is really common in Thailand', Joyce said. -Really? Wow, such a deep thought and valuable information that no one ever heard of. There are food stalls and street food in Thailand. Unbelievable. 3:25 She's lost but she explains where she is? 6:13 She's lost but knows there is 7/11 underneath those hotels? 7:35 'There is an ancient looking thing there. I don't really know what it is bcz I don't have my map with me', she said. -Well, thanks Joyce! Now we have a rare and precious information about that 'ancient looking thing'. 8:18 She shows tailor and dry cleaning stores from outside only? Useless. 11:03 There are pedestrian walks Joyce, no need for stop lights on every sigle crossroad. 13:53 'It's not safe to ride a bike but it's just short distance, less than 10 minutes, I hope nothing happens to me'. -This is same like 5 seconds rule (only in america) when sandwich or smtng else drops on a floor and people think it's totally safe to eat it if you pick it up within 5 seconds. American logic. 14:03 'Make sure you wear a helmet'. -She is just saying it bcz she obviously doesn't wear one. 15:50 After complaining about how expensive gelato is, Joyce wants Chon to actually cover for the expense! 15:58 She is counting tables but no one is really interested in number of tables and chairs. Why would you put that into video? 17:15 Repeating herself for 3rd time in this video while rambling about hotels and cafes. 18:43 'Imagine if you eat here and you can't really see the fish, because you are too busy eating'. -That's the most pointless sentence anyone has ever said since people started to talk. What's with your brain Joyce??? 21:14 Joyce enters the mall even though she said this video is not going to be about malls. 23:41 Repeats two times the exact same thing in one sentence only!?
I noticed that in the last few videos even on her channel, Joyce has lost ideas and the quality of her content is rapidly deteriorating. She's repeating herself a lot. Even when planning a video. And now she wants to be spontaneous!? It's a recipe for disaster Joyce. Don't be spontaneous, it's not interesting at all. Better create a quality content which makes sense or at least is fun. This video is completely opposite. There is nothing interesting in watching someone rambling and talking about pointless things.
*In next video: Joyce will show you a small rock next to the street. Also, a car on a parking lot. As well as windows on a building. And a cloud in the sky. And perhaps, a plates and glasses on the table. Because her target market are one and a half year old kids that don't really know about those things.
