- In this video we will download Xcode and go over some of the main features that relate to SwiftUI development. iOS developers will spend most of their time working in Xcode, so it is very important to be comfortable with the layout of the software and have a good understanding of how to use Xcode efficiently.

Finally someone with real didactics, you are so clear and after long 2 years searching for a real good tutorial, I FOUND THIS ONE!!!
Good luck on this journey!! 🚀🤙
Really amazing! I'm Brazilian and english is not my main language, but I can understand everything you say in class
I just want to thank you for this series. I have learned so much! Your teaching style is perfect for my way of learning. Please keep on putting out more videos!
Thanks for the comment and thank you for watching! My next playlist will be coming out very soon :)
I have been struggling with learning Swift for 3 years and your approach has opened the whole platform for me. Every lesson fills in some blanks. Hope you do one on Combine down the road as I haven't found a really understandable teaching yet and I would love to use it properly - the best so far is RW's but still many assumptions that the learner is more advanced than I am! Awesome job!
I will absolutely be doing a combine video (a few actually)! But since it's a more advanced topic, I'm going to put that in another playlist after the Bootcamp. I have some other videos already in the pipeline, so maybe ~2 weeks!
Just what the doctor ordered. Thank you for your time, dedication and passion for teaching!!
I took other courses of swiftUi, and they told me that if you have an ipad then you can use Swift Playgrounds. So I just want to share that with anybody that has an ipad but wants to code with swiftUI. Me personally I have an ipad pro 12.9, with the magic keyboard case. So that makes it just like a macbook so that’s why I didn’t want to waste more money to buy a macbook when an ipad with a keyboard can work as well. So I just want to point that out for people who have an ipad.
began this playlist today. Xcode has def improved and changed a bit since this video.
I just started today!
This is wonderful! I couldn't imagine that it would be this easy! Thank you so much for explaining it like this! In the first couple of minutes, I had the feeling you gave me a magic wand to use, and it felt great. That's very motivating. Have a great day.

Thanks! These playlists will cover Combine if you continue with them (which is my recommendation). If you’d like to skip to the Combine videos, here’s the path: www.swiftful-thinking.com/blog/learn-combine-for-swift-in-6-hours
I am very excited to learn more from your channel. Thank you for the amazing beginner friendly tutorial🤩
Really enjoyed the Swift Basics Bootcamp and was super excited to start the SwiftUi Bootcamp. But, I'm struggling a bit because the videos are three years old using Xcode 12.3 and the current version is 15.2. So many things look different, that I'm spending a lot of time trying to figure out what is what. Hopefully, it will still all work as intended.
Bonsoir, j'apprends beaucoup avec votre formation. Complète et pédagogique !!
Merci beaucoup !
Great video! the info on version and build numbers was especially helpful for me.
your tips are really amazing and reaching to the freshers
15:37 I’d like to point out that versioning should follow the Semantic Versioning Specification (also known as SemVer), and that it is not a matter of preference (as it is being stated later in the video) 🙂
Awesome, course looks promising! Thank you!
Let’s go! Good luck 🚀
this video is best of all i saw before ,but your voice is weak , thank you ❤
Muito obrigado por fornecer este curso =) 🇧🇷
nice explanation🙌
Thank you very much for such a great useful video!
Thank you again! 🥳
Thank you. Your lecture is really good.
You are welcome 최승기 !
Good course, Nick. Thanks 👍
this is awesome keep it going!
Thanks :)
Xcode is so laggy or is my 13 inch MacBook Pro from 2015 but powerful enough
My Mac does not support Xcode, does this video support windows
Can you recommend any good book to read about mastering SwiftUI?
I'm in! Great job with the lessons! I've been playing around with Swift for a few years but always hit a stumbling block. I have an app that I started 3 years ago with UIKit. Can I convert this app to SwiftUI or should I start over?
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Thank you for this practical tutorial
تشکر از شما استاد محترم!
I enjoyed it. Thanks.
I have a Macbook Retina 12 inch 2017 (A1534), and I've recently installed and started following your tutorials. Thanks for sharing and Nazik, who advised you to me. Hi Nazik.
I have a question. Right there on the top where the time is (between the time and + button), there's an orange triangle icon with a white exclamation mark in it saying these:
"Showing All Messages
Capabilities for Signing & Capabilities may not function correctly because its entitlements use a placeholder team ID. To resolve this, select a development team in the testios editor."
What can this be? I'll certainly Google it now but wanted to ask you too. Thanks in advance.
I have just one question if a create an iOS app do I need like a virtual host to host the app data base before I add it to the Apple Store ?
i wanna learn swiftui and i will follow your bootcamp. thank you!
Welcome Diko!
Could I ask if your Bootcamp series is still applicable and good resource to learn in 2024? :) It's been 3 years since this video and I'm just curious before I invest time. Perhaps there are other more fresh resources on your channel you'd recommend?
Yes all applicable and anything that got deprecated is appended at the end
@@SwiftfulThinking Great thanks
🔥
Thank you so much!
Thanks Andres!!
I'm new and I don't know what the plan is about learning
Is this what I have to learn from the beginning, or are there basics before these lessons?
thank you bro
Your course is very good. Thankssss
Really professional!!
Thanks!
I would like to ask you which is better, Swift UI or SwiftUIkit
SwiftUI 😜
GREAT JOB!!!! Thank you
Thank you Nick
I just want to know if your tutorial is up to date, since its too long, i dont want to invest too much of my time just to know that i have outdated information since this is 3 years old now.
Yes this course is for learning fundamentals, which do not change. Anything that has changed as been appended to the end of the course. For detailed info, join our Discord and ask others!
@@SwiftfulThinking Thank you very much for the feedback ❤
