  • Dr Tim gets asked all the time "How many vials of hyaluronidase do I actually need for my emergency kit, to reverse a vascular occlusion safely?" so we've dedicated this Aesthetics Mastery Show to answering that question once and for all.
We dig into the science behind hyaluronidase reversals; why different clinicians have competing views on the number of vials you need; how many it took Tim to reverse his own lip occlusion; how to know when you've used enough; and how you can access emergency stock in UK (except Scotland) if you're not a doctor or dentist.
If you haven't already, you MUST download Tim's emergency filler reversal protocol here: drtimpearce.co...

I also don't understand why there hasn't been any study with actual data and an ultrasound to have more official information about this cases. Shouldn't the injectable brands be held accountable of this issues and provide with a good study/answer on how to solve this problems?

I’m a new injector and was told to carry at least three vials. I only work part-time in the office and part-time in the hospital so I’m hoping that will be ok. After watching this and as my business increases, I’ll probably keep at least 5 on hand.

How careful do you have to be with the injection of hyaluronidase? Are you still purposefully trying to avoid vessels with these injections?

Watching your videos, I feel that an ultrasound should be considered obligatory to have if you're performing cosmetic injections.

In Finland we can only get Dessau/ 150 IU...not 1500....this really worries me. My boss and I need to lead on this, if your ”vials” are 1500IU. KIND REGARDS, ALISON BURTON

I actually just experienced, what my injector believes, occlusion from smile line injections. My injector checked capillary refill before I left and believed I had a spot, so she reversed a small amount before I left. Later in the evening, I noticed a marbling along the outer part of my nose that definitely wasn't there before. I sent pictures, and I went back in the next morning. There she continued a reversal, but the marbling is still there. The capillary looks normal now, but the marbling along side my nose is still there. To me it looks like a bunch of tiny broken capillaries from my nostral to the under part of my eye. I'm supposed to send more pictures to my injector later. It's been about 26 hours since the process started. I'm hoping to see improvement soon.

I don't know if anyone else does this... It's extremely time consuming, but I actually will clear my cannula before I inject a new area. I have aspirated with a 25G 1.5" cannula many times!! I am also extremely gentle. However, I think it occurs at the placement of the port. What do you think about "thinning out" certain products (except Cheeks and temples) so that it is easier to aspirate?

He sounds like a butcher. 3 vials for an occlusion you've seen straight away, that would have burnt so much of her natural tissue, do one vial/ even less for the first hour then check pain and capillary refill then repeat if needed, 3 vials in 45 minutes, monster

Hi I am a model. I had hyaluronidase injected 5 units into 1 nasolabial fold. It has impacted my natural tissues. I was refilled after a few weeks but looks much worse. Will my skin heal? Does hyluronic acid replenish but possible may never be same? I am 28. Products don't go deep enough. I could try stem cells & trentinoin? Do u know about connective tissues? Can u help me?
