- I've been playing a lot of New Vegas lately and one common request on all of these videos has been for me to please play Fallout 4! So today I'm playing it with you all for the first time ever :) (I'm loosely familiar with the game though!) I hope you all enjoy this break from the regularly scheduled New Vegas content hahaha

lmao I was still in New Vegas mode! 😭 I never see my character there!
I hate being a backseat player but a tip when hacking is that you can look for sets of closed parenthesis () , brackets [] , arrows or curly brackets {} to either reset your attempt chances or eliminate words that aren't the correct password. Sometimes there's tons or sometimes there's few not sure if that's completely random or if you can affect that w special stats. But also you can cheese the lockout system by quitting out of the hack before you lock it out and then log back onto it to refresh your attempts.

You can customize the HUD color to your liking! I change mine for each character :-)
Well part of me thinks I should just adjust to the green since that's pretty much the Fallout standard hahaha

Also you can change the green HUD to different colours in the settings

Important note: always take the fusion core out of your armor if you’ll be away from it for awhile. Else you’ll see one of your companions or settlers wearing it 🙄😂

That was the best intro recap given literally ever.
My biggest gripe with Fallout 4 vs New Vegas is that each perk in FO4 is so weak compared to the impact of a NV perk. Like, wow 10% damage with rifles... I'm whelmed. What winds up happening is that FO4 characters are just default decent at everything while in NV you could become a specialized god at a certain weapon or group of weapons.
New Vegas is the better written game, but I don't know where you are getting this "10%" for rifles in Fallout 4.
Fallout 4 perks all have ranks, so a lot of them are stronger than they first appear. When you upgrade the same perk with multiple points in Fallout 4, they not only get a lot stronger, but most actually change and get additional effects with later upgrades. Example: The Rifleman perk in Fallout 4 can be upgraded 5 times and at the max level it is +100% damage, ignores 30% of target's armor and an additional effect of higher chance to cripple a limb.
Did you make it past level 12? Im not trying to be rude or anything but you get up to like 80% higher stats at the end of the game and in end game being way more overpowered than NV

Thanks to you, I bought and am playing Fallout New Vegas for the first time! Really good. Reminds me of Skyrim! Never was a fan or liked Fallout, but I'm definitely digging it now. I went for a melee build, so it has helped me a lot when certain times in the game they must take away all your weapons. Fun watching enemies explode when I hit them😂
Unfortunately, I'm not a saint, the first thing I did was massacre everyone in Good Springs, and picked the cannibal trait to regain free HP on dead corpses 😋

ASMR never change... 😂You can scrap a lot of junk in the settlement while in building mode. When you get close to stuff like metal, wood carboard, etc... the scrapables will highlight and you will have the option to hit (R) to scrap. All the scrap is teleported into the settlement storage and will be available to use for building anywhere within the settlement.
Please do the far harbor quests down the line if you have the dlc! the atmosphere is really nice
It's been forever since I played FO4, but if I'm remembering right, I think you can change the pip boy color to a few options (amber being one, maybe purple too)

So cuz the UI as usual is really bad at default it's not obvious, but you can look around at all the perks - you gotta move your mouse to the bottom and it will slowly scroll around. You can level up anything you want as long as it's shown you meet the requirement.
You can change the color of your hud and pip boy to something other than the green in the display settings. Since I’ve played new Vegas I’ve always gone with that color in fallout 4, you can’t beat it

I did two starting playthroughs of Fallout 4, I only had the Deathclaw attack the first run.... 😳 😅
I had to start again, because my first playthrough bugged out and every save became corrupted. 🤪🙄
Fallout4 starts out great and the first 20 levels and challenging but it really really gets too easy the more you level not even sure why anyone thought legendary weapons were needed. I guess people liked RNG mechanics so they just had to add it.

im playing fallout 4 right now as well, and as a survival crafting game its tons of fun, if it was called fallout survival ide have lower expectations and wouldn't complain about it.
