- Hi folks, I got Ryan over to play a few tunes on the first acoustic finished from the TWO ACOUSTICS AT A TIME series. I talk about the specs of the guitar in the video but I'll also list as the first comment.
Special thanks to Ryan for playing in the video. His main thing is bass guitar but he was very gracious to give it a shot for me on camera.

I was very happy to discover you live locally and your knowledge and experience has been a tremendous benefit that has met all my repair needs and then some. You are also a nice guy which makes interaction a pleasure. Thank You some much. I will make referrals to anyone seeking expert luthier and repair skills. Congrats on the new build and how perfect it has turned out you are a "master craftsman".🎸😎
Thank you Chris, it has been a pleasure meeting as well. You have brought me some very fine and rare guitars. Many of which have made it on the channel. Appreciate my friend.
Beautiful guitar, great sound, great playing, and a cool hang between buddies. Thanks for sharing!
@@MicroMysticMusic thanks Zak, Ryan is a great friend. He also demo-ed my 335 bass as well.
Hey look it’s the mail man!!! Sounds great!!!
Ryan is a man of many talents. Thanks Jessie.
Dream luthiery Dane. Superb. On top of all the obvious, you know what really seals the deal for me? -restraint with OTT adornments. The instrument speaks for itself with no need of bling and looks all the better for it. I just wish I could drop by and give it a blast. Respect Brother.
Thank you much Steve. For the first two I thought it was more important to see what all was involved. Kind of proof of concept. But It is a concept that's been proved for years. A little abalone around the sound hole for purfling wouldn't hurt my feelings though. I have more back and side sets that I bought from a guy but I don't remember what they are. And I bought a back and side set from the notorious StewMac that are Boubinga. Wish you could play it, it's amazing.
man it does sound sweet! I always like the slotted head stock best as it puts more downward pressure on the nut and IMO makes for better tone and volume, especially on open notes. very good work mang!
Thanks Randy! Always good to hear from you brother. I agree about the slotted peghead and more break angle.
Finally catching up with some of my favourite channels. That’s a nice sounding guitar. If I ever get brave enough to build an acoustic guitar, a triple 0 will be the one.
LOL, when he said he was going to tune to double drop D, I knew it was for Black Water. 😊
Nice build Dane.
Thanks Jag. When I hear double drop D I think of Cinnamon Girl. Good catch on Black Water.
That's awesome!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!
Thanks much James. Means a lot coming from you with your background.
