I loved growing up here. Mr Ausberry’s snowball stand, the pool at the park, and playing baseball on the base. Good times bruh
Man you sent me back in time when you drove down Anderson, Lumbard and Hopkin past Mr. Joe's house, Mr. Ausberry's snowball stand seeing my aunt Sadie's and Uncle Sostane's house and aunt Olivie's and Uncle Curtis's homes, the Martins and Toney's Groceries. The memories Bruh! Wow Thanks.
I loved growing up here. Mr Ausberry’s snowball stand, the pool at the park, and playing baseball on the base. Good times bruh. This is Truth Bruh. Amen, spent a many summers and weekends at my grandparents Grocery store "Tonys Groceries on Lombard St until Mama Florance passed in the 80s.
I hear ya, man. Like me growing up in St Martinville
@@exploringthesouth975 Been to a lot of places and there is no place like the Louisiana gulf coast. The culture, the people and the food are 2nd to none.
I visited New Iberia
Once back in 1977 it was a very nice place
I do believe it is the largest heliport in the world followed by Port Fuchan
My grand mother and grandfather is buried in that cemetery, 🌹
I grew up in Iberia Parish, it was a better place prior to the 2000s. I moved away in 2012 (far away) and return for a short visit every couple years. It appears noticeably worse each time I return for a visit. Sadly, the citizens are content with and oblivious to state of their environment.
It’s a hell hole in the 337 feels
Like it’s no way out for the youth
Give it up for The Berry!!
That's it I'm moving out now
Do breaux bridge when you get a chance
I got Breaux Bridge, LA. Ran through there last April during the crawfish festival. Its in the LA playlist
Lafayette is rather sporty these days
So basically you've posted a CZcams video that stereotypes the West End of New Iberia. Lot of those neighborhoods have literally NO Crime activity at all. You should take this down immediately.
Read the video description.
There's not a single neighborhood in New Iberia that doesn't have crime 🤣
chill dude, the video shows a new iberia neighborhood that has a high crime rate. nothing more, nothing less
You gotta actually ride through the hoods not just 1. 😂😂
Naw one is enough. Cant do a 2 hour video of one location
@@exploringthesouth975 or do your research because u just made a circle u could literally pass through all of them I. 20 minutes
@@oldschool337 Naw Im good Dude. One is enough.
@@oldschool337 He drove through the West End. Nothing mentioned of Downtown, Olivier, or any other area of town where CRIME is prevalent....rather than driving through certain subdivisions on that end that have NO CRIME ACTIVITY at all....labeling it "dangerous". Its BS.
@@jarredthomas2316 I hear ya dude
I’m from new Iberia
I’ve lived in San Diego, San Francisco, Oakland and Seattle I currently live in Indianapolis.
New Iberia is far from a dangerous hood
😂
I think you are correct but all those cities except Indy you speak of are all very liberal and they divested in law enforcement causing a criminal and drug vacuum. So of course they will be more violent. And I lived in Indy for 5 years. Indy is like New Iberia at a way bigger scale.
Ong few people get killed but not dat bad
safe unless you live in the hopkins street area, black, male, and a teeneager
@@exploringthesouth975 I agree!!!
Glad you replied!
😂😂😂🤦🏽♀🤦🏽♀
😂u only went to one side
I came back in December. Check it out.
it will all look the same in a couple decades
don't go to new iberia unless you need a haircut
Dead snitch town
When someone does a video like this they should put the street names for at least a few of the streets. There is a project in this area where the police will not go to it at night. Very bad place I was told.
You sound dumb. Them cops everywhere out here.
I dont think this is true. Ill check into reporting names of streets
Was told? please do no pass vicious rumors on nationall sites-THANKS
St edwards project Aka the bricks
There's a lot of places nobody should go at night in New Iberia
