I'm 52 yrs old now & I can remember watching Hee-Haw every Saturday evening at my grandparents house when I was growing up in Gordon Alabama...about 20 miles south of Dothan Alabama.
My grandmother would cook a big supper & my grandparents house would be full of family & friends...SHE ALWAYS MADE SURE EVERYONE ATE & GOT FULL!!!
