I'm not saying these are the cheapest gravel bikes out there, but I believe all of these bikes provide a great value. Let me know if there are any other good value bikes out there that I missed.

"Best value" not to be at all to be confused with the word "budget".
Absolutely not. There are definitely a lot more affordable bikes out there. I felt these gave a pee good value for what you get.
Thanks Ty. Ride on!
thanks for bring up lynskey . Will be looking at them for the next bike with the prices they have for a ti bike
No problem! I am still shocked by how cheap they are.
Wow! Fezzaari and Lauf both in the same video. Nice job Ty! I have both a Veyo and Siegla and I couln't be happier with both. Great values for the price.
Absolutely! I'm not as familiar with Fezzari, but I know firsthand how high of quality Lauf is at a very good price.
@@TysRidesthey changed their name and are called ari now. It's cool that they are a us based brand, but the fact that they don't have headquarters overseas makes the bikes 900$ more expensive in germany compared to the us, yes 900$,atleast for the carbon bikes.
Solid list. If I ever get another gravel bike it will be a Lynskey. Local Ti builders. 👌
Yea, I was shocked by these prices!
@@TysRidesAND their customer support is top notch, a buddy of mine had a bike that came with a faulty weld. The frame was replaced super fast.
Love my Lynskey GR300 but with Lynskey there are a few caveats. The biggest cost-saving measures Lynskey incorporates are the alloy inserts for the headset bearings and seatpost, and the weird eccentric nut they use in the rear dropout to achieve perfect wheel alignment in the rear triangle. I personally don't have an issue with either but some others might not like it too much. Other things of note, my brake hoses were insanely long from the factory and the stock Cane Creek 40 headset creaked. I replaced the upper headset with a Wolf Tooth Premium IS42 which solved the creaking and I had the brake hoses shortened by a local bike shop. It's perfect now!
I keep secretly hoping their funky eccentric nut dropout opens the door for a SRAM UDH upgrade, but I'm definitely not counting on it.
I've heard some complaints the geometry is outdated (no dropped seat stays, no dropped chainstay etc.) but I find it perfect for myself and being able to fit 700x45 is good enough for me.
If you want to pay a little more, Litespeed makes a great lineup of gravel bikes and they also regularly go on sale. Their new Flint is a decent value when it's on sale.
This is EXCELLENT feedback. Thank you for taking the time to write that. I'm going to look more at Litespeed and might make a dedicated video on Ti gravel bikes that are a decent value.
thanks for linking directly to their website
Really like my Litespeed Ti bike, also in Chattanooga and founded by the Lynskey family.
I originally had them on the list because they have similar deals. Went with Lynskey because last time I had a list and mentioned Litespeed with mentioning Lynskey, I got hammered in the comments lol. I may find some more brands making Titanium for a good price and make a whole video about it.
Dude. Polygon bikes from Bikes Online. Worthy addition to this list (my #1 if you ask me) 🤘 My first gravel bike was the Polygon Bend R5. GRX 800 series groupset, 1x, carbon fork, 110mm dropper, thru axle, GRX 800 series hydraulic brakes, etc etc. $1500. They've now come out with a new gravel bike line as well.
I think I included them on a list a while back but have not looked at them recently. I'll check out the new bikes and try to get them on a future list. Thank you!
@@TysRidesYep, you previously included the R2 (entry level Shimano Sora). You won't be disappointed.
A have a few finds that I’ll send your way in a message. This is an excellent list and you mention at least 3 bikes that would be on my own list.
Hell yes!
I'd love to get me one of those Niner RLT 9s, especially at that $1800 price but Jenson doesn't even list it on its website anymore. Any idea where I can find it elsewhere? Thanks for the vid! 👍💪
Man, I honestly don't know. I wonder if you could get one directly through Niner?
@@TysRides Thank you for the response. I did end up finding a couple other deals on the Jenson site that's definitely got me interested: the Rocky Mountain Solo 30 for $1019 and the Solo 50 carbon for $2089, both steeply discounted at 40 and 45% off. Both are 2023 models on close-out but the Solo 30 at least appears to be a fresh redesign on the frame. Only downside is it's got mechanical disc brakes but it's an 11 speed Apex 1 spec, which after looking around a bit seems to be a lot better spec than anything else I've seen at that price range.
Didn't know Jenson existed until after watching your vid so thank you for informing me about them. Been a little hard to find good online direct deals after Wiggle/Chain Reaction quit shipping to the states.
Cheers.
@madcapper6 absolutely. You might give Obed a look too. They have some good prices right now and then there is always Canyon too.
@@TysRides Will do. Thank you.
If you want a deal check out Poseidon bikes - also Ty in 2021 I bought the Canyon grail aluminum not CF because it still had normal handlebars 😂❤🎉
Yep! The AL ones always had the regular bars. Funny you mentioned Poseidon. Check out the video I have coming out later today.
Spot on about the new carbon Grail, losing the ugly bars and the ugly stem/head tube interface of the old iteration makes it a much more attractive bike, imo too.
The first one was so ugly. Even the shape of the bike was ugly.
I picked up my Niner RLT 9 Steel for about $1000 off msrp in June, from Bike Bling. Couldn’t pass it up!
Yep. And it seems they are always on sale on those sites. I think they make a decent looking bike, too.
While the value of sale varies a bit, Lynskey is 100% always “on sale”. Love my GR300 with external routing. It isn’t the lightest frame out there, but it will last forever.
Yea, I figured they were typically always marked down. Someone else commented that there were some things he didn't love about his, but for the price, I'm sure they are still pretty nice.
I watch these in college knowing I can’t fathom affording these in this debt
I got a few budget bike videos out there with bikes that are more affordable. Plan on making a few more in the future. Thanks for watching. Keep grinding and you'll afford a sick bike one day.
Great info Ty!!! Mo and Hannah CZcamsrs ride Fezzari's.
Thanks, Larry. Yea, I've actually seen a few of their videos, but it's been a while.
I just bought the canyon grail but you know what, I have waited that fidlock frame bag for two months, but keep on out of stock, I can't even wait anymore, I want the new bike day! They said the bag will come back in March.......????? Come on Just a Bag, how come they are not as sufficient as the bikes ?? And All Sizes out of stock until three months later ??? I am quite upset about this...because of the shipping fee, I may have to go to Germany to get the bag one day......
That sucks. The bag is one of the coolest things about the bike.
Definitely not the cheapest but some interesting ones. Thanks
Yea, for sure! Thanks for watching. I feel like all of these are a lot of bike for a reasonable price. I may make a 2024 budget gravel bike video down the road. That video will focus on cheaper bikes.
I have a Lynskey and regret trying to save money on a titanium build.
What do you mean? You wish you would have gotten a better build?
@@TysRides i wish I'd bought from a boutique brand with more of a bike culture. My opinion is that Lynskeys are built by machinists for machinists. Overbuilt, water bottle mounts too high, i had to get creative when installing a rack that I've had on 4 other bikes. Also i have a $7K+ bike that weights22lbs :/
@michaelpearce6982 ah, I see. I don't really have much experience with it. I guess you see the Lynskey name and associate it with quality, but there has to be a reason they are selling them so cheap. I appreciate the feedback!
@@TysRides i think they're overbuilt for better (easier) repeatability-scrap rate. Also heard the tubes come from China which totally negates being built on the USA. Finally- if you have to save money, you're not ready for titanium
@@michaelpearce6982 fair enough!!! Thanks again! This is great feedback.
I don't think "value" means to you what it means to me.
Maybe I should have titled it bang for buck? I have a few budget bike videos. You should check them out.
bruh
"VALUE"... bikes over 2k are pretty expensive for VALUE shoppers.. a Canyon grail AL 6 is value because it has good components and a good all frame...come back down to earth buddy, this list is not value in any way. also, SRAM is dogshit..
Hey, thanks for the feedback, buddy. I'm pretty sure I made it clear in the beginning of the video that these were not necessarily the cheapest bikes out there but a good bang for the buck. Value means you get something good for what you pay. All of these bikes check that box. I have a few BUDGET bike videos out there. This is a VALUE bike video, and in my opinion, all of these bikes are good value.
Are there any good gravel bikes for under £1000 for beginners?
Check out my budget gravel bike videos!
