    Thank you for the video Yem Yem, very informative as usual. If I may add something, BC has an international graduate program for PR as well. Except its limited to certain programs that the various schools offer. I know coz I’ve looked into it. Just Incase anyone is interested in going to BC. It’s on their website. But remember, not every program is eligible. There’s a list of eligible programs from every school in BC. So yep, one has to be strategic. Thank you again yemisi, you are inspiring. ❤

    Hi yemisi, is it possible to school in Ontario and use the RURAL RENEWAL STREAM in Alberta for PR or it’s only limited to people in Alberta alone?

      No province is bad. It only depends on what you want.
      You can check for their PR process to see if it looks promising for you.

      Crime happens everywhere. I’ve never experienced one. It could also depend on the area of the city you live.
      But saying “very high”, I disagree.

      Starting in May, Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) waived NNAS requirement for Nigeria nurses. Accepted applicant still needs to pass NCLEX exam for nursing licensure. NSCN does not deal with immigration.

    If u as a student end up applying to get PR either while still studying or after studying does there spouse get to apply on ur on application for or the partner also have to get PR via some of the entries u mentioned?

      When you start your application, you should have included your spouse.
      Otherwise, you can always add him if you are yet to be nominated .

    About the Saskatchewan 6 months experience then apply for nomination, I saw online that the processing time is just 2 weeks. Does this program guarantee PR to students, like is it highly likely you'll get it or is there a lot of rejection?

      There’s nothing like guarantee with immigration.
      If you meet the criteria, you MAY get your PR. No information on Canadian website is a yes or no. It depends on if you meet the criteria.
      Also, that the processing time on the website is stated doesn’t mean it’s a cast a stone. When you get a response is when you get it.

I have a question...in the case that I have two viable master options specifically in University of Canada, would I need to apply separately and pay twice for application or can I put in one application and have a first choice and second choice...?

      You mean two different programs in same school?
      I don’t know if it applies to all schools but in USASK, you’d pay for each programs because they are different applications.

      It’s for international students in those provinces.

      Been a while, I hope you’re doing well.
      So, the 6 months of work I referred to in the video is for student stream not dependent.
      Your husband can apply for CEC after a year of work experience in a NOC 0,1,2 jobs.

      I’ve seen a lot of management courses in Ontario but I’ve not really dug deeper.
      I’m only saying this because my first admission in Canada was in Logistics and Supply Chain Mgt in the University of Windsor.
      However, you can do your research more especially if you want jobs in that field.

      All you have to do is go on the schools website, read the requirements to be sure you are eligible. Then, apply.

      Email your school to differ your admission for next intake like 5 months further out which ever

      Yes, you can either email your school to defer to the next semester or ask if they have an online option for you to join in this semester.
      Do that quickly!

      Try to look for a continued care program, usually 8 -12 months.
      The implication though is you get 8-12 months PGWP.

      Hi Yemisi, I got admission for this program but I’m a bit worried about the chances of getting a visa as the CCA program doesn’t really reflect career progression. Asper a Registered nurse applying to studying a CCA program. Cos I heard my supporting statement has to show this.

      Changing a program is not a problem at all once you can convince the school and the visa officer why you want to/did that.

      If the job offer is under NOC teer level 0. 1, 2 or 3..then you do not need an English test.

      Congrats in advance. I don’t know anyone or a group you can connect with. You can either check nairaland to see if you can meet people coming down to the school in the same period and connect with them.

      Alberta has two major cities; namely Calgary and Edmonton. Manitoba has Winnipeg. Alberta has more population. Nurses are in demand so you should be able to get PR in either province.
