Hi Martin. It's scale. Put descaler through or vinegar. It will happen again very quickly because there will be bits left in.xx
I had that problem but someone told me to keep it running good use descaling tablets once a month
That's what you should do no damage to perforations
Possibly this blockage was caused by not doing a descaler through the machine? On a Nespresso machine it prevents you using it to produce a coffee when it needs descaling. Many descaling products available. I use sterdant if I don't have a Nespresso descaler sachet.
Nice little repair Martin well done 👍🏻👍🏻
Yes I think descaled will be a big help as well, may need both , but since Tracey snd Ben got it a lot if cups of coffee have been made, so. Really it’s done well to just need cleaning , I am sure they will be other help given by others as well, but I think a descaled run through sure will sort it. Thanks fir your tip, anyway. Main thing is it’s working and looks a. Nice machine . I fancied that one myself to be honest. Two choices people could try. Guess you would just need to be careful putting something in the holes you weren’t making the whole bigger or more could get stuck.
I suspect it scales up with limescale and coffee grounds. Probably, needs a good clean once a month say. If you put water and some lemon juice in the water reservoir and run it through like descaling a kettle. Then rinse through.
Thank you Martin!!!!!
Good of you to share. Much appreciated as ever❤😘🤗💯
Great tip. Thanks Martin
Well done Martin you are so knowledgeable 😊😊
You should be running some white vinegar through the machines regularly since there will always be a deposit build up from the minerals in the water.
Thank 😊 you so useful to know ❤.
Great Martin watching from South Africa
Well done
good tip martin
Top tip Thx.
Brillant tip Martin really helpful thank you 👍🏻❤Rosey
Fantastic Martin. I’ve got one of those. I’m ready now for action. Aussie Bob ❤
Interesting video, 😊
You said last night on your blog you had ordered a new one cause you made it worse
That was after, this is how to fix the blocked head without having to throw it out.
Brilliant Martin. Your like my hubby if something breaks he's into it n 99%he fixes.
The gas welding files that we use for cleaning carbs with would work well nice fix Martin 👍👍👍👍
Yes they would Alan.
Thats what you call a coffee break!
I've never had luck with coffee machines .Not much of a coffee drinker so PREFER MY CAFETEIRE Martin .But that's a great hack 👏
That part with the raised dots looks like a filter which will need cleaned regularly, I prefer the Philips 5400 Latte Go 👍
L'OR are on CZcams with instructions for cleaning. Sorry can't seem to get the link
I sent mine back. I’m keeping to Tassimo machines, so much better and you shouldn’t have to do that to stop it leaking. If you descale it regularly it’ll be fine. If Tracy sends it back I wouldn’t be surprised.
I think it's just a matter of running clean hot water through it a couple of times a week.
You're a GENIUS Martin!!!!!!
Well done I had the same problem, so what I done I was going to do the same dump it so like you I looked and found around the rubber ring inside and amount of dried coffee build up and stopped the seal from sealing properly that’s where it leaked. Once I gave it a good clean good as new. I cleaned all the parts every time I used it but never thought of inside it.
Great demonstration Martin! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Send it back
Good for you mr fixit what a champ
Great advice Martin, I will try that on mine ❤
Have you tried a coffee machine cleaner
Well done Martin 😊
Thanks for the tip. I will remember that one for mine should it do that. Well done Martin ❤
I dont have a coffee machine but still watched the video, cheers Martin!!👍
My tassimo used t leak so a through it out
Martin. Do you think if you regularly run hot water through it. It will keep it from blocking. Aussie Bob 😊
Yes, it's probably a good idea to do it a couple of times a week.
Nice fix
50/50 mix white vinegar to descale , don't need to use all those tools may damage perforations perforation perforation
That’s exactly what I use to descale mine......works perfectly
It wasn't scaled up, it was blocked with coffee grimes
Genius, many thanks. When are you and Sharon, and Tracey, going to publish a cookbook for the 15-1 please? I have followed a lot of your recipe's and they've all turned out fantastic !! Thank you
Return it for a replacement if still under warranty.
It wasn't faulty, it was blocked
Give Ben the first few cups after cleaning 😂😂😂😂😂
No eyebrow plucking for Tracy now😂😂😅
She's gonna look like Denis Healey now 🤣🤣🤣
@@Erik-LehnsherrX she's still a lovely lady
@@kevinjohn725 She really is. So is Stacey. That family is blessed. ❤
Well done Martin bet Tracey is happy.❤❤❤
It’s not limescale you do not get that in the water at Lossiemouth.
We all should have a Martin! ♥️
I would say it needs a descaler tablet ran through it to clear it out
It wasn't scaled up.
@@butlersempire I’d imagine the descaler would push the crap out regardless of been scaled up but it’s good to know the reason it happens either way 👍🏻
A “can-do” Dad who can fix anything ☺️
Well done dad. Is it still OK? Didnt some say that you then took it apart and broke it? You were buying them a new one?
lol, yes, I did attempt to strip it down afterwards and Its now redundant haha.
@@butlersempire Some products are purposely made so that they break when you take them apart, that's probably why there are no videos on how to, That's how they make you buy a new one.
@@stevenc5227 Yes agree Steve.
"This has been leaking and she was on the verge of throwing it away." Well 😏" Gotta love her 🤣
Martin, you're a man of great knowledge, and you can fix anything. I think it's fantastic that you fixed the coffee machine. I think you're a clever guy, and thanks for all the videos you up load for use to see how you cook with the lovely Sharon. I enjoy so much watching your blogs that you both make everything so simple and enjoyable to watch, and the lovely sense of humour you both bring us look forward to seeing more, also your dogs are adorable x
@@fahimmahmad9731 "@you can fix anything"
Well he can't because he took it apart and now it's fully broken. 🤣That's my own kind of fixing. Fix it until it's truly broken. 😝
You have not had it long. You should have tried to take it back 😮
Probably because it needed de-scaling.
It wasn't scaled up.
Its got 12 months guarantee
It wasn't faulty, it was just blocked.
czcams.com/video/BJUU1WhCIQA/video.htmlsi=mxAEpTNm6j46kXLU link on how to descale your Lore. Hope this is helpful ❤
Thanks, it wasn't scaled up though, the holes were blocked with coffee grimes.
