R.I.P TENOR SAW ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS
What is there to dislike.. 80s and 90s 👌❤️❤️ best Era in dancehall reggae
Are you the jamaican singer Ian Sweetness ?
This is how hip-hop, rap and freestyling was invented!
This Came out in 86. Hip hop had its roots in NYC in the early 70s, but was firmly established as a musical genre by this point
king stitch and u-roy were first toasters who blessed the mic, today we call them rappers. reggae is mother of hip hop, hip hop was created by soundsystems.
He is not saying this performance, DJ, MC style reggae NO DOUBT influenced the birth of "rap"
ThatGuyTooHigh ....in the late 70s DJ Kool Herc started rap music in the bronx...he brought the style from Jamaica where he was born....rap is from Jamaica style.
Mimosa40 *****
Also, the sound system Culture started out way back in the 50s
Yami Bolo sing nuff solo!
Yami is a prodigy for real.
Sweet sounds since a youth 🙏🏽💪🏽
What Tenor Saw could have been. Super talented and gifted brother. Tragic loss to the culture of Reggae.
There is no use in a dislike-button. Why disliking this? It happened anyway, your opinion will change NOTHING to it.
а зачем тебе дизлайки, смотри и всё. Или не смотри.
Facts 💪🏾
Yami Bolo confidence high like de sky mi ah tell you.....
Yami Bolo is the Boss
1980's and 1990's was the best genre of reggae music! The Djs/Singers/Entertainers were so talented and real! The vibe, culture and energy was righteous! God bless the souls of the reggae pioneers!
Tenor Saw's lyrics, voice, rhythm, flow and aura was legendary!
Yammi Bolo was extraordinary!
I remember when the legendary
Danny Dread and Babyface used to
DJ and selector for "Addies"!
Can you imagine being at this or one of these live dance hall events!
God/Jah know how much I miss the 1980's and 1990's!
Damn don't even get me started 80's & early 90's reggae (rub a dub & raggamuffin) is what i listen to every day of every week since i was 12 years old. But i was born in 92 so i never had the privilege to witness a real dancehall like this. I've been to countless sound systems here in Holland & Germany but none of them have the same intensity and power like these early crucial shows... To me only Damian Marley and Busy Signal come close to recreating that real ragga ragga vibe!
@@RaggaBaby
1992! Was the first time as a teenager I went to my first live "Addies/Stone Love" sound system dance and Buju Banton performed live with Wayne Wonder! Barrington Levy performed, Freddie McGregor, performed, Frankie Paul, performed! The dance was pure niceness, rub a dub, studio one dubplates, live in Brooklyn August 1992.
@@RaggaBaby tell me pls, what the difference between rub-a-dun and raggamufin?
@@ceofounder What club was that in?

This was an outdoor music event in Jamaica.
R.i.p. to all di fallen legends but mi feel it fi tenor saw mostly he was so a head of his time, one of dancehall most unique artis ever, always singing positive songs seem like him was a spiritual yute.... jah know mi vex how dah yute deh never get fi complete him musical journey r.i.p.
RIP t.saw
Agree. He never got to finish he's journey!!!
Saw was a youth under 2o years old at the time if he was alive know he would be in his early fifty
True 💯 true 💯
Tenor Saw.. a real musical profit from a yute! Bom!
classic vibes
the mighty Tenor Saw!!! always one of the best RIP
Amazing! Tenor Saw was dripping with talent. What a silky smooth voice. Yami Bolo was a protege indeed - so young and confident and rocking the mic. You heard Cutty Ranks distinctive voice - always on point. Who came after Yami Bolo what is his name? He had a good set.
Would of love to be in this dance but I wasn't even born then 😂
That when ja have the best tunes in the world MADD no tune nowadays can't stop these tunes.
Classic session. From the first riddim, Jammys' *"Chase Vampire"* riddim (still a killer riddim after all these years). Every DJ here on point, Joe Lickshot hyping up the dance with his unique *"CHOOM CHOOM CHOOM CHOOM!"* Cutty Ranks murder as per usual. The late great Tenor Saw, still hugely missed. This video is a historical document that needs to be preserved, Jah know. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
First riddim I thought it was walk like granny Wayne Smith bless
I love this one! Best days of dancehall and rarely does talent arrive in such a style and fashion, especially the beats 😁
I remember this time of unity. This is a really fantastic concert a lot of talent. Thanks for sharing...💚☀️❤️

So can you say when this style (i mean ragga toasting) has began? Which year?
Aquamethods this style is from the 80s
@@skanking007 i've been reading some articles about dancehall, there are some information that the style begins at 70s. Found this czcams.com/video/mq9ImiB4TGE/video.html it's from 1979 czcams.com/video/0lr4ULzaV_o/video.html this record is from 1978, this czcams.com/video/YA8MFRp_hME/video.html is from 1977, something like pre-dancehall
