31:12: Peter Metro riding the Studio One *"Pressure and Slide"* riddim. Killer. Always liked how DJs ride Studio One riddims. But Cutty Ranks kills it on the *"Sleng Teng"* riddim. One of the best example of DJ diction caught on video. Murderation style. To all *real* dancehall fans worldwide. 👍😎👍

Some people didn't want dancehall to go the way it was going when people like sugar minott, bunny wailer , and early dancehall stars were going a different direction along with playing some roots rock reggae. This was an amazing time in dancehall with the DJs and riddims,, dancehall and hip hop wouldn't be what they are today if it weren't for some of these guys tenor saw , supercat era ect.

My older cousin brought home a sturgav cassette
I confiscated it and it became mine till I wore out the cassette until it split so much it was unsalvageable and beyond fixing. This 1 cassette was being played over and over I just loved it . The cassette.had Efdiefitzroy selection "Youthman penitentiary on it also daddy Uroy the teacher .Inspector Willie the greatest selector inna Jamaica. Colonel Ranks the mighty colonel.Uroy and Wayne Smith selection so check it out. Ain't no me without you. Life is a moment in space. You never know but you know now! with Inspector Wille coming with the part 2 style inna rub a dub style. Life is a moment in space. So put a smile on your face that you can never erase .Joesy Whales amongst others. That cassette was on point itwas what I wanted to be listening to at the time. My friends couldn't understand why I'm listening to this Instead of the the top 40 standards of pop and hard rock. I was up in Toronto and one of a handful of brothers in WASP school. I didn't want to be completely taken over and have.my musi al culture erased them. That's why I'd go to every reggae dance hall show I could even if that meant going to the shows alone. But yes I wish I would get my hands on that same cassette a gain .
