    FYI. The reason they put the valve stem for the wheels in the center of the rim is to allow the use of tubes. If you cut a tire, you cant patch or plug it. But if your tubeless rim has a valve stem in the center, you can install a tube and be on your way. If the valve stem is off center, you can not use a tube in and emergancy. So this is exactly how you want to see a tubeless rim to be made.

    Thanks for the detailed walkthrough, best video so far in terms of detail. We bought TWO! Indeed, why wait, this bike was thought out very well and CFMoto is taking the lead here - we used to be Honda fans but they haven't come out with anything new, despite their DCT being amazing but they refuse to make smaller CC with DCT - so we move to CFMoto. BTW CFMoto - DCT this 450 baby and you got yourself a jewel :)

    Good Video. Looks like a game changing bike for the money. All the competition for off road Adventure Bikes are single cylinder.
    This is more focussed than the Honda NX 500 and has higher quality suspension and specs and 8-10kg lighter.

    The ABS switch is a godsend, i own the Versys X300 and it doesn't have a switch for that, if i want to keep the speedometer working but not the ABS, i have to take off the front wheel sensor, or do some trickery on whilst on the center stand.
    I like that it comes with USB ports, 2 light bulbs and that switch, i dislike the screen placement because I've gotten used to the digital / analog combination in the Versys x300, i believe the tacometer is very beautiful, i dislike it all being on a display, but that's where tech is moving towards.

    Thanks for the review! - I rode it briefly and I really liked it but for the price 31,500 rmb I feel like it’s lacking features (center stand and crash guards should be standard) especially compared to the QJ600 SRTX ; 30,000rmb with heated seats & grips, center stand, crash bars, Dual Brembo front brakes, proper hand guards ( not plastic), 82BHP (still trying to find more info…). Haven’t seen our ridden it yet but I’m sure it’ll be showing up soon. It’s a great time for new bikes!!

  • @defylifeadventure
    @defylifeadventure Před 4 měsíci +2

    Nice to see a detailed look in English. I do disagree slightly though, yes you will have to got out and but extra accessories as that bash plate is made of cheese. Even CF Moto's own marketing shows an image of it smashed in. The hand guards will also need replacing for any adventure or adv touring. Overall, it looks good though and the price is right. Shame there's not much to remove to get the weight down. Some of the service intervals in the manual are questionable for touring too.

    • @TheRideandPlace
      @TheRideandPlace  Před 4 měsíci

    Estas nuevas motos chinas, tienen una relación calidad precio muchísimo mejor que las japonesas. Esta CFMoto 450 es lo que podía haber sido la KTM 490 Adventure, pero es seguro que KTM la hubiera comercializado con algún caballo más y algún kilo menos. 50-55 caballos y algún kilo menos hubiera sido un sueño para muchos de los que tras pasar por maxitrails y enduros de todo tipo buscamos comodidad, ligereza, servicio utilitario diario y diversión en carreteras reviradas. Yo por mi edad, voy de vuelta y tras
    enduros y maxitrailes disfruto de una KTM 390 Adventure divertida y eficaz. Hay muchísima expectación en España e Iberoamérica sobre esta CFMoto 450 MT.
    La altura excesiva del asiento de mi actual KTM 390 Adv, a 85.5 centímetros del suelo, a veces se me hace incómoda e incluso peligrosa. Los chinos lo estáis haciendo muy bien en estas categorías, cubriendo nichos de mercado a precios razonables. El peso excesivo de las maxitrail, nos amarga la ruta, la salida, el aparcamiento o el alzamiento de la moto del suelo cuando cae, y es por esto y las restricciones e imposiciones globalistas y agendatarias, que, en Occidente, estas comedidas cilindradas se están convirtiendo en maxiventas y motos lógicas para los que van y para los que volvemos. No obstante, me encanta esa moto y estaré atento a su evolución. Los chinos lo estáis haciendo muy bien también en estas categorías, cubriendo nichos de mercado a precios razonables.
    La CFMoto MT 450, posee potencia, buen equipamiento de serie, larga autonomía, actualizaciones vía app de móvil, tubeless, buena ergonomía, pantalla ajustable, tomas de energía, escape alto, capacidad de carga, subchasis desmontable, estriberas, cambio, y espejos retráctiles, suspensiones largas solventes y adecuadas para uso mixto, electrónica comedida, altura de asiento polivalente desde solo 80 a 87 centímetros y sobre el papel buenos materiales y acabados. Es casi perfecta. Solo le falta ofrecer Quickshifter y color verde que me encanta para moto trail. Incluso los japoneses, tendrían que tomar ejemplo en cuanto a diseño y equipamiento de serie. Habrá que esperar a ver su fiabilidad, intervalos de mantenimiento y precio.
    ✌ Saludos desde España.

    Amazing how much detail one can see in these high res videos. I can't help but notice this bike is currently with its wraps on in the showroom and yet the finish is just okay... It is certainly sub par compared to a Honda CB500X or a BMW G310GS or a KTM 390 Adventure. So in my opinion it is a chinese motorcycle with an average finish. You are getting what you pay for. Great probably for thrashing and almost over hyped and marketed at the moment. It will not have an impact in the market like the BMWs of the class for example and will be forgotten soon despite high sales volumes initially.
