  • Banyana Banyana are confident they can overturn Nigeria's Super Falcons' 1-NIL advantage from the first leg and seal qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The team will host Nigeria in the second leg at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Tuesday evening.
The team that wins the tie, will become one of two teams to represent the African continent at the Games.
Forward, Thembi Kgatlana, says they will be able to play their usual football in Pretoria which they couldn't do in the first leg because of the condition of the playing surface.

I love South Africa team but they talk too much including their coach. Nigeria has one or two home based, the rest are foreign based that are used to better pitch than the one you have in South Africa.
You people mentioned long grass weeks ahead of the match. You have 17 home based players while Nigeria camp opened few days to the match.
Please play football and less talk.

With their home grass and better facilities, they couldn't win the second leg against the Super Falcons 😂😂😂

A lot of our girls are foreign born with best pitches. Why complaining that the grass is tall and the ball couldn't bounce. Down playing Nigeria with your best facilities but still lost. You want to tell me that other African countries your team has played with has best turf

""We'll have advantage when we go home and play in "better facility" "" was a very stupid statement from the Banyana Banyana player Thembi Kgatlana"" Hope to see the advatage that the facility offers to one team only.

It would be funny if Nigeria beats them with more goals in better conditions.

South africans are funny, they forget the conditions will also favor Nigeria. Nigeria is a better team and they made a stronger and better showing in Australia and New Zealand and were unlucky not to destroy England.

Nigeria is a better team but that is no excuse to have a poor pitch as host for an important football match.

Why do South African players speak English like they have bread in their mouths?

Well, it didn't look like Banyana Banyana's "better" stadium at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria mad any difference.
They failed to score against Super Falcons, thus failed to qualify for the Olympics.

@@philaninxumalo291But they are going to Paris, and your team isn't going. Your talk is so cheap, but it might also be a consolation to you alone. Your team makes too much noise. You must realize that your girls aren't at the same level of football as their Nigerian counterparts. Your team has just started coming up in the game. The Nigerians are the queens of this game as far as Africa is concerned. The record is there, unmatchable. You must learn to respect them. Learn to swallow your pride. You're just coming up, while the Nigerians are the masters of it. And yet, they and their coaches are so humble, unlike the loud coaches and players you guys have.
