- The Washington Post hosted legendary reporters Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward; Elizabeth Drew, author of “Washington Journal”; Ken Hughes, author of “Chasing Shadows”; and columnist Ruth Marcus as moderator for an in-depth conversation to mark the 40th anniversary of Nixon’s resignation. Martin Baron, executive editor of The Washington Post, provided the opening remarks.
Marty was in college. Ruth was a senior in HS. I trump both of them. I was nine years old when Nixon resigned.
I can't believe she cut off the information about the Brookings institute. I've heard a little about it and what I understand Nixon wanted them to blow the safe in the Brookings Institute. I would've liked to of heard the story but she cut it off and started a discussion about something I didn't care about. Oh well.
Wonderful.Thank-you so much for this. It instills hope for investigative journalism in a time that cries out for it.
Laura Binkley, couldn’t agree more

Good video
I wished dates were placed on these. Please, context of each of these videos would be helpful. Thank you.
Inspector29 , if this for 40th anniversary of the Nixon Resignation, that would likely put this in 2014.
Interesting panel. I'm watching a lot of videos on Watergate, Washington Post etc. I read Arthur Schlesinger's interview with Jacqueline Kennedy after the JFK assassination. She said JFK described Nixon as "sick, sick, sick."
Is this a comedy show? What's with all the laughing? Moderators voice was extremely distracting. Hit pause while she's on a roll and you'll know what I mean.
Why is that lady sitting on the floor?
Lynn Turman so you can't see up her skirt
she's pretty well known for being nuts
@@DanJanTube…. You and the others don’t deserve an answer but I’m going to give it to you anyway. That woman is Elizabeth Drew. A great journalist. She covered Watergate and the Iran Contra hearings.
Ms Drew was always short in stature and now that she is elderly she’s lost even more inches in height.
Yours and the others cruel comments fall flat and they only reveal how small in stature of character you are.

I can't stand this moderator even though I really like the guests. The question about what would it be like today is so stupid and nobody knows for sure so why ask it? I'm interested in what happened back then not today. I know what it's like today
