A way to specifically target the issue of slow units getting outmaneuvered would be to give them higher attack with lower rate, so dps could still remain equal in straight fights. I have proposed that mainly for elephants
That's a wide variety of guests. Should be fun to watch.
Ok, I have an idea.
Increase cavalier upgrade cost to 400f 400g (or maybe even 450f 450g)
Increase archer-line, knight-line, and maybe camel unit cost by 5 gold
Decrease cost of barracks by 25 wood
Increase cost of bloodlines and husbandry
Possibly increase effect of supplies to -20 food cost
Besides making them dirt cheap I would also suggest massive bonus damage vs eco buildings, TC and villagers; and a plunder mechanic that earns gold on enemy unit kill.

I think a better method than making them free is giving a 50% discount/reinbursement based on the investment in techs researched. So getting armor becomes free after a period of producing units.
santa is a very smart guy
They had the right idea with the tech "Supplies" to unlock the lower cost so that dark age rushes don't become overpowered. But even with that tech, militia line is still not worth it because castle age is all about raiding.
*Romans have entered the chat*
Idea. Make it so cavalry take up 2 pop instead of 1 so that they arnt as pop efficient in comparison to infantry
I think a simple way would be to make the Man-at-Arms, Long Swordsman and Two-Handed Swordsman upgrades free and instant, but keep the Champion upgrade as is.
I love your content man, I just think it's maybe too all over the place for the algorithm to cope? Idk, it seemed like you really blew up on the first Sandy interview and that CZcams has just been keeping you down as far as everything else. It's annoying that I'm subscribed to you and your videos never seem to pop up, but hundreds of other videos I'm not even interested do just bc they have algorithmic privilege.
audio quality is so bad
If this was a true solution goths would be a good civ
The only reason Goths aren't overpowered is because they lack defenses and a good eco bonus. Otherwise, they would be unstoppable.
@@Porphyrios9856 cheaper units is an eco bonus
@@Porphyrios9856 goths not having the last infantry upgrades is what kills them.
bruh do you even play aoe2?
This guy needs to take his scarf out of his neck. And conversation has interesting topics, replies, but it's like the two guys are not really in harmony.
