- Welcome to the trilogy of what if Anakin Told Obi Wan about his Marriage in Revenge of the Sith! As the Jedi knight Anakin Skywalker wrestled control of the flaming inferno, that was the front half of the Invisible Hand, Chancellor Palpatine, Obi-Wan Kenobi and R2-D2 held on for their lives, until it crashed heavily into the Coruscant landing platform on the surface below. As they exited into the safety of a Senate shuttle bus, Anakin was praised as a hero by the politicians for saving Palpatine, and eliminating Dooku, but the Jedi was focused upon reuniting with his secret wife Senator Padme Amidala, whom he had not seen for a while. To Anakin’s delight, Padme announces her pregnancy, but his initial feelings of happiness later turn to worry. Anakin awoke in the middle of the night to nightmares of Padme dying in childbirth, and the Senator asks him to tell his master Obi-Wan, but he refuses, deeming his master to be too close to the Council. Eventually Anakin asks Grandmaster Yoda, which increases his confusion and concerns, as he is told to let go of his attachment to Padme. But what if Anakin had told Obi-Wan about his marriage to Padme? What would Obi-Wan tell him to do? Would this prevent his turn to the dark side or make him more vulnerable? As you will discover, Anakin’s revelation, could have shifted the course of history…

😆😆😆 yeah, you bet the Jedi knew what Anakin was up to. Maybe only Obi-Wan knew (was reasonably sure) about the marriage, but lets face it, Anakin isn't exactly Mr. Subtility. Then the Senator gets pregnant and we all know the kids are highly force sensitive, so the Jedi would have at least suspected something.
Literally every story that involves a good ending with anakin not turning to the dark side,is the best

I love how all these videos are like “what if something reasonable that probably actually would have happened happened?” And the answer is basically always that the original trilogy just wouldn’t have.
It’s like “here’s another plot hole.”
Since Padme knows and trusts Obi Wan, what if she spoke spoke with him to discuss her concerns about Anakin’s nightmares? Combined with Obi Wan’s existing suspicions that would probably confirm to him that they are married. How would that impact things, in particular how would Anakin feel about Padme outing their marriage?
That would actually make sense. Padmé and Obi-Wan are friends and this could have very well happened.
He already knew as seen in the clone wars multiple times, maybe not their marriage but he knew it wasnt "Senator Amidala and I are just friends". A better title would be: What if Anakin told Obi Wan about his dreams of Padme.
honestly, if Padme had read through ALL the contingency orders, she would have seen order 65 and had it put into action, which would entirely nullify palpatine's order 66 and render him completely powerless aside from the force.
Order 65 allows the majority of the Senate to order the clones to arrest or assassinate the chancellor should he deemed unfit for duty
What if Obi-Wan and Anakin didn't forget all about Shmi for damn near a decade? I get that attachment is bad and all that, but I feel like buying her out of slavery and getting her a simple job in the core systems would have been far less distracting to Anakin.
I love how almost all of these theories are "WHAT IF THESE DUMMIES COMMUNICATED?? FOR ONCE IN THEIR LIFE??"

Kinda annoying how order 66 is always activated, I mean they knew he was a sith so he would lose his power
They could execute order 65 to stop his remaining power.
But it wasn't against the law to be a sith lord do therefore they didn't have anything to go off other than what they witnessed since palps covered his tracks so well.

What if, instead of either remaining in the Jedi Council’s chambers or following Mace Windu and the other Masters to the Chancellor’s office; Anakin took Padme’ and left for Naboo right then?
After all, the prophecy (I don’t think.) didn’t specify exactly what he had to do, to bring balance to the Force.

@@ginacorderman4733 ^ that'd be my guess since George Lucas whole point behind Grievous is that lightsabers don't make someone powerful the force does. Maybe she even dives a bit into the dark side (a stretch) and force crushes his limbs to disable him.

What if Obi-Wan and thus also Anakin had kept in contact with Padmé after the Naboo crisis, and met regularly as friends, especially after she became senator, which I think happened at least a few years prior to AtoC? Instead of seeing Padmé as love interest, Anakin might have relegated her to big sister status and she might have outright friendzoned him.

Pretty much. He was planning everything from the beginning and if a single piece was missing it was game over for him. Although with Palpatines intelligence he probably had a many back up plans set into place. It’s just that none of these stories would be nearly as interesting if every time Palpatine won. I think it would be more interesting if Palpatine had contingency plans but those either failed or only partly worked.
What if darth maul killed obi wan and qui gon then kidnapped Anakin and then trained him to be a sith

Because a female anakin would be a bit more difficult to reign in with Obi-wan as her master, but i also think that a male padme would have a much harder time trying to justify having anakin around fof protection.

Finally someone mentions that the Jedi's lack of evolution contributed to the rise of the Sith!! This is constantly looked over.
Question: Wasn't it illegal for the Jedi to arrest Palpatine just for being a Sith?
Honestly I find it more ironic then Palpatine's story.
The Jedis are taught that fear is an enemy to their cause, yet they remain afraid too much of the dark side that it is limiting themselves from evolving.
Also to that question not neccesserly, remember Dooku was a sith lord by the name Darth Tyranus(?) But he was (and he admited it) to be the Apprantice and was the leader of the sepretistes, Palpatine was also a suspect for being a Sith therefore he was meant to be arrested, so to clear out wether or not he is rwo things, a Sith, and somehow linked to the Sepretists who caused an awful war with the Republic.
But because he started Attacking 4 masters and was able to defeat 3 of them easily, it left Windu with no other choice but to kill him, knowing that giving a chance would be the end o the Republic and the absolute detruction of the Jedi order....
If I recall correctly, being a Sith was illegal in Republic space.

@@DHDragon You would think so. However, the Republic had created laws to protect the rights people had to freedom of religion.
In the United States, its not against the law to worship the Devil even though the majority of people would say that the Devil is evil. The same holds true in the Star Wars Universe when it came to the Sith.
Palpatine knew that the Jedi Order wouldn't be able to move on him legally just for being a Sith Lord. But, he also knew that they wouldn't be able to resist moving on him when he revealed himself as a Sith Lord.
Had Mace Windu successfully killed Palpatine, he would have spent the rest of his life in prison for treason and the Jedi Order would have suffered for it as well.
@@rrgale55 Palpatine had also killed 3 other jedi before Mace would have killed him. Also, there is a camera in there, they could easily watch what happens
