- In this product review from Sharp Shooting Supply, we unbox and review the S&W Response, a new firearm that resembles an AR. The gun features a 23+1 capacity double stack magazine, a threaded barrel, and an optics-ready top rail. It weighs just under six pounds empty and comes with accessories such as a Glock mag adapter, M lock accessory rail adapters, and grip inserts. I'm thinking this may be a perfect 8-10" suppressed sbr🤔
i would like them to keep the glock mag receiver and put some type of sights on the rifle, its no good if you cant aim it.
Should come with some iron sights on it.
I am surprised the barrel is that long. Some 'Gun Tubers' have been a bit off over this rifle. I think S&W have seen a gap in the market. Better than a pistol for home defense. But that barrel? No. As I said too long
There’s still a market for it. It’s 1/4 the price of 556 to train with 9mm. We’re also about to be in a 223/556 shortage. There’s specific competitions that they use 16” PCCs. Decent to have for SHTF . Some people will turn their noses up but there’s definitely a market for em . They released it at a good time
@@JohnnyBravo02 Yes. As I said there is a gap in the market that S&W have spied and filled. I have been shooting all my life and I wouldn't want to use a pistol in the middle of the night to defend myself. Good on S&W.
Why would we need magazine adaptorsr?
The adapter helps it shoot 2 different style of mags.

Towards the end of the video he said the MSRP was $799.
We did mention the MSRP, CZcams kind of yells at us if we keep discussing price. Typically, you can find this particular model well below the MSRP of $799 (including on our website). It is pretty neat!

One place quoted 799.00 I think a little too high.
