The girl that you mentioned at the beginning of the video is Sienna Lalau. She actually choreographed this and was only 19 at the time. This is one of my favorite videos from BTS and that’s saying a lot since they have A LOT of great ones. Keep the wonderful reactions coming! 😀💜💜💜

I'm enjoying the breakdowns, thank you. Wanted to mention during Suga's rap, the autotune is strong as the snares, brush, fill up the sound, and when he changes tone, the drums also change, using a felt-padded stick and deeper drum sound and there the auto tune backs off considerably. I think this is a production choice, as I know the 3 rappers are also producers they are very particular of how their rap sounds with/in the beat, especially Suga (who has received awards for his producing) whom I'm sure had a lot of input into synchronizing his tone with the drum sound making adjustments with the autotune intentionally. Don't know this as fact without hearing a producers/artists commentary but this happens in each of the rappers section.
I love this and this MV. I know you love disecting the lyrics and video so I suggest watching the film version for this same song. Also, watch the behind the scenes for filming this video as well as the film video and the behind the scenes of the band for this song.
13:20 this part is actually Jin with jungkook doubling under his part… basically a blend of their voices … and easiest to tell is the end of his phrases bc jk has a unique vibrato that’s distinct with how he does that… it sounds great tho … and Jin’s got a beautiful voice… especially his upper register… just insanely powerful … they’ve lost got amazing voices… but Jin and jungkooks voices are so very clear .. I love it when they sing together

I get the impression that Suga specifically likes an auto-tune effect on his voice. I hear it quite often in his verses.
This is not the music video for this song! It is the ON kinetic manifesto film come primer performance video. Released on the 21st of February 2020 the official music video for this song was released two or three weeks later!
I've never seen such a real reaction. I stop a million times myself, rewatch if something is unclear or new I look it up in the search engine. It's always a little strange to see a reaction shot in 1 viewing, without reading anything about the plot, the translation. I thought like you said, that at some point there'd be some songs I would NOT like (much less love) when I started watching and hearing all their songs, so I kept on (on my own, starting nearly 7 years ago now) watching whatever came up next from them and also songs that I'd see referenced somehow I would look them up. I was like "HOW ARE ALL THEIR SONGS the BEST songs I've heard in YEARS??!!! HOW??"
I mean, people buy albums and you may only like 1 to 3 songs (if you're lucky) off an album, but very FEW artists or groups have there ever been in my whole life of 62+ years, that I have ever or could ever have LOVED a WHOLE freaking album ....VERY FEW. ! The quality of every song is unsurpassed, the production team, with Suga and R.M. so involved from the get go in alot of the creating of the lyrics and music and themes of these songs shines thrugh, the attention to each part of each song, every words execution when they sing it is remarkable. THIS GROUP and their music will stand the test of time. It'll be a long time, I predict, before any group ever manages to outdo them and their catalogue of amazingly diverse music.They're a once in a lifetime fated combination of talent, nurtured to perfection if you ask me. So excited aboutther future music !!

- Funny you should mention V's beauty... He has actually held the title of the most handsome man in the world quite a few times on different lists since 2017. Ironically the times he was replaced it was by...Jungkook. 😄
- This is actually "just" the dance version and not the actual mv. ARMYs tend to recommend this version because the actual mv is *packed* with symbolism while this one shows off their dance talent.

This song is somewhere between my theme song and my favorite song of theirs.
This MV is still one of my number one favorites. I think RM and V have the deepest voices in BTS, but to fully get a real feel of V's voice you will definitely want to check out V's solo songs Singularity and Stigma and especially the live versions. I read that V is the only Korean baritone in non classical music and has the widest vocal range of Eb2 ~ D6. They are all so awesome and each member shines individually as well as together to make such a dynamic group. They are all handsome, sexy and multi-talented, but V is so extremely gorgeous and the funny thing you are not alone in praising V's looks and you will hear the BTS members telling V over and over again how handsome he is in behind the scene videos.
I enjoyed this reaction! I had same with Jin. From having hard time to remember him to falling in love. His tone is so unique, also he does grate job putting emotions in singing, so emotion of the song increases. I recommend you check his latest solo song - Yours

Sienna Lalau from The Lab choreographed this she was 19yo at the time. She has a YT. Her crew won World of Dance season 2. They are great! I listen to techno, pop, R&B, soul, country, etc. They mix the sound and it sounds great. And yeah they all give us good vibes thus we love and support them.
