The HTLT isn´t comparable to the Primal 29, since it´s double suspension vs Hardtail. Also the price ranges are on different levels. Why not comparing the Primal to other Hardtails of your knowledge, and give your rating on a VS basis. I would like to know if it´s a relevant bike for a mountain biker as myself, who would like to transition from a hardtail XC mtb to an enduro/all mountain hardtail bike, such as the primal pro (not sure, if the Primal can be called an enduro hardtail mtb)
Of course you cannot compare the SC with this bike (this wasn't the intention of this video). The HTLT is better in every way, better climber (weighs 1kgs more with the same parts) and descender (of course). The only hardtail comparison I can make is between the Primal and the Nordest Bardino, which I rode a while ago. I can't really remember how the Bardino rode though. What I do remember is that the Bardino was way more comfortable being made of steel. I have to add that the Primal is just a placeholder, having the exact same parts as my HTLT did. As soon as the Megatower frameset arrives, I'll ditch this frame.
Hi.
What set of tires are you using brother?
Continental der Kaiser Apex in the front and Continental der Kaiser Protection in the rear.
What hubs are you using sir?
i9 Hydra in this video.
What’s the rise on the handlebars?
35mm
Would you say this is a good hardtail frame for €300?
Well... I didn't really like it as it was too harsh of a ride. I bought it for 250,- It's ok but too stiff. It rides well though.
@@harzenduro too stiff for hard turns? Could it be because of the 29 tyre size?
@@l1m043 No. To stiff overall. It's not comfortable. It doesn't dampen any impacts. A steel hardtail is way smoother.
@@harzenduro yoy mean cro-mo steel hardtale? Can you recommend some nice steel trail/Enduro hardtale frame?
@@Dima-dc5mf Exactly. The Nordest Bardino is a good one. I rode this too.

Yeah enduro/trail it's built for
