Bought the NS. The N is new, but still requires further adjustments. Based on handling the NS is still the beast. Based on features, the NS is very outdated. But who needs features as it is the ride and not a software application
💯 agree. Features are welcome but they are not the be all end all of biking

I own N160 and I rided on Ns 160 too. But I choosed N160 because of the handling and the top speed.
Is n160 top speed better than ns160 because ns power figure is 17.2 ps and n160 produce 16 ps... That's why I'm asking...

Take the n160 platform and add 4 valve head and smoother and peppier gearbox with a superb ratio matching the requirements of both spritely accelerating in city traffic (how NS 160 is currently right now) as well as superb highway topend capabilities which is almost near the 220 level though not exactly like the 220. Also that it should come with with slip and assist clutch then the new engine should be plonked in a more stiffer and lighter evolved version of the perimeter frame and reduce the wheelbase to somewhere just above n160 and at the same time significantly lighter to the current generation NS 160, along with that an even more fine tuned USD front forks and also give the bike all the modern bits like the newer styling (obvious evolved version of the n160 just like how NS was designed by Edgar Heinrich of BMW motorrad as an evolved version of the original first generation pulsar, to suit the higher credentials owing to the higher placement of the NS sub brand), a flat one piece handlebar, and better equipped with stuff like bluetooth and navigation.

@@itsthejod there was a time when my head only had Bajaj and Pulsar and that nearly costed me my academics to be honest and made me just barely pass out with my bcom degree...I don't know why I was addicted to brand Pulsar and Bajaj like that even after knowing that I won't be able to ride one myself in my whole lifetime due to how I am....it was crazy...
Ns160 anyday without any doubt, its the OG, ns is timeless❤ Pulsar series was always meant to be a Street fighter naked sport not a smooth city bike. The thrill and confidence you get when you accelerate ns is totally unmatchable. The naked wolf 🙌
Well both the NS and the N160 are great bikes. Design wise the N looks modern and fresh where as the NS it loos a bit dated although i prefer the looks of the NS160 .
Also the ns feels bigger bike the N160.
Then Thier is the performance and NS is the better with more power. Yes N 160 might be refined but the NS's engine has a puch.
In terms of features the NS comes with ABS as standard but the ABS is only available on the black colour of the N 160. I also don't like the handlebar of the N160,it looks weird 😬😒.
So overall the NS 160 is my choice.
Wish bajaj could have given the NS a LED headlamp and better looking mirrors.
Do a similar story with NS200 and the N250. 😂it will be interesting to see who will win. What do yoy guys think?

Exclude the Led headlight that's alone gonna cost 5-6k on it's own
Ns is way much better, how can you say n 160 is clear champion ( no perimeter frame, no usd forks , no kick , no pillion comfort due to heightened back seat , no muscular build)

N160 has a more refined, frugal and tractable engine. It even has better build quality, fit and finish and switchgear quality. It even gets LEDs which are very much functional. Yet, it's interesting to know that it is barely making numbers.. First I think Bajaj has to understand what Indian customers want!

I can't remember how many iterations of discover were made, now platina and ct. Damn too many pulsar's and no proper distinction. Irony is non of these new versions sell, people still want the OG pulsar and the 220's come back multiple times is the best proof.

The 1 thing I didn't understand from this video. This is my 1st motorcycle. And I want the faster/more fun motorcycle for the city. As long as I have abs. I am not that worried about minor feature differences. What do you guys suggest between n160 and ns160?

Dono me se ek bhi pulsar ki legacy ko maintain nahi kar pai. Pulsar stands for large tank. Lower clip ons. Wide tyre. Beautiful exhaust. These bikes have lost everything

ns 160 is better as it has upside down forks ,more power, lesser weight (more sporty), more reliable engine than n 160(cuz ownership reviews of n160 are not good), ns with better handling ...ns wins

I went through the same dilemma in October last year, and at that time the N160 was even better of a proposition since the NS had skinnier tyres and suspension and inferior brakes. Got the N160 and rode it for 8100km now, runs fine with 42kmpl all day long and constant100kmph cruising will give a mileage of around 37kmpl. Great bike for city duties but the power is good only for city though....on the highway it runs out of breath and needs 8.5k rpm to cruise at a 110kmph 🙁
Does even a bajaj showroom has some much space to only displace all pulsars

Bajaj should finally update the lighting setup in NS 160. Haligen headlamp is more power consuming than led setup.

If in terms of 160 segment i will definitely choose pulsar n160 but ns200 is in 200cc segment, so here my choice is N160
Ns200 vs Apache rtr 4v 200
In eastasia, 150cc sigment are more focused on performance side. Pulsar, gixxer and fz with their heavier weight tends to lags when comparing to other 150cc bikes that were design in eas asia. So NS150 makes more sense than N160

I would go for N160.... From my experience it is much much better than Apache 160 4v....also the weight, same weight in paper but apache weight is all on front and light on weight so traffic riding is not comfortable.... But N160 it almost feels like no weight and is much suitable city traffic

About braking?
NS any Day. U can mod the NS to house projectors, add LEDs, but u cannot modify the N to house a new perimeter chassis .
This becomes quite evident in the 200ns vs n250 comparison, u cannot mod to have an extra gear, u cannot make liquid cooling happen, u cannot REV like a crazy freak. NS200 is a understatement in Budget ICE Performance Bikes.

Bajaj made a mistake with launching both bikes. They should have provided n160 with upside down fork and discontinue ns160

For long rides go for NS, in N it's slightly aggressive posture, you will feel pain around your wrists, plus it's not suitable for longer rides.
