Wash day for me became a 10-15 min gig once I decided that spending longer in my hair was unnecessary. The only days it takes maybe 30 mins is when I deep condition it. I think I learned to wash my hair quick also because I have a toddler 🤭. In the past, wash-day would take anywhere between 45 mins to an hour. That's when I was still learning my hair (admittedly, I've never stopped learning about my hair), but I'm so grateful that time is over. I a have a lot of hair, to the point where I stopped going to hair salons and learned to do my own hair as hair stylists would usually try to persuade me to do other styles that would take less time because of the amount of hair I have 🤭 Thanks for sharing your routine with us. I’m a natural hair creator and my hair can NEVER obey me this easily!!!😭😭😭😭 I envy you Maraji. Wash day for me is a whole arm day because I literally take at least 24hours to wash my hair because of my hair volume🤣😭🤣😭 it’s a love and hate relationship over here if I’m being honest.
What helps me is watching someone in real time wash hair so I can time myself. I realized my 1 hour showering can really be 30 min if I shampoo twice which only take 5 min and then 25 min to detangle and what not and rinse if I’m not deep conditioning or I get out deep condition with heat for 20-30 and then rinse cold water wash day is an hour or less including deep conditioning. And I detangle my hair with a high slip hair mask in the shower and use clips to hold back sections i detangled

Low density hair is bae!😍😍😍 I can get away with sleek buns BUT I need to figure out how to pre-moisturize. I usually put it in the bun soon after rinsing while it's still soaking wet because the weight of the water helps it sleek down even without gel. However, there's no oil, no nothing and it dries up badly. I should try this method and see what happens
My hair is so thick and I have low porosity 4b hair so it takes two business days for my hair to fully dry 😭😭 The easiest way to wash my hair is in twists if I really want to clean my scalp/hair.

Yeah you might want to change parts or not do it as often cause it will definitely cause balding over time. We have the same texture of hair and I discovered my hair was thinning in the center cause I constantly did two cornrows ( my to go lazy natural girl style😂) had to switch up real quick

Just a skin care tip. Conditioner can clog your skin so always rinse you conditioners off when about to take a face to toe shower.
