I’ve got same hair texture as her but longer hair and I try to slick down my hair to the ponytail but my hair is uneven, so every time I try they just pop up . She’s got way less hair than me and she can easily slick I down . This really tells me something 😑

My brother says he hates for women to wear wigs because it indicates that they are lazy. I always have to remind him that he keeps a bald head and doesn't have to do anything to his hair in the mornings. Well, the same reason that my brother shaved his head is the same reason that some women choose to wear wigs. Some hair just won't "act right". @@princessvictoria8113use any leave in conditioner and ecostyler gel. Maybe you need to slick down your hair in smaller sections. That works for me.

Try another gel and also tying it down for 15 minutes. You may also need to moisten your hair (not soak it) before using gel

I have have medium length natural hair, and I can can say this works. I detangle my hair with that new pink brush. Used some water and moisture for easy slip. That hard brush is the key. Usually I would have a bump in my hair from attempting to slick it back. I have to say I’m proud of myself.
This works tried it on my 4C hair and got lots of compliments. My hair looks exactly like yours, curly and wavy.
Sometimes styling my hair is really frustrating and I feel like adding relaxer but when I watch videos like this it gives me hope.😍😘😘😘

Girl you are blessed. I could never get my hair to stay in one place without embarrassing me, how much more make it flat with my full hair. Even when I go to a salon, I could not achieve this look. Had to give up on the hair and use relaxers cause combing was hell. Even with the relaxed hair now, it's difficult to get my front hairs to stay down. You have no idea how blessed you are, leave people like us with the iron sponge we're carrying on our heads

Even my hair doesn’t lay like this and I have 4a hair . Every time I slick it down , it does wave up but I still have a few stubborn curly hairs that REFUSE to lay down and I use a brush , water and gorilla snot gel .
