"It takes a long time to travel through Kazakhstan because it's such a large land mass." This coming from an American blows my mind, because I'm from the UK, and I consider America to be impossibly huge... 😅 These are really helpful and interesting videos because not many people know a single thing about this country, but you're pointing out some of the things we really would have to understand to visit (travel and money, seasonal weather - and in your next video, about the expense of hiring a travel guide!) that aren't obvious from the outset.
You should visit us in Almaty. It's a totally different place and people. Youth mostly speak English and you could easily find a good friends. And winter is only three month here. We have a hot summer beautiful spring and amazing autumn.

In the Northern part of the country fruits are rare and thus expensive because they are grown in the South. So, this is the reason why sellers do NOT let customers pick fruits by themselves and put some rotten ones in your bags. In the South it's totally different, for example, even in Almaty. We always choose by ourselves and try to choose the best items. :)

About supermarkets, it's true too, because we don't have the Walmart as in America you have. So funny! Loved your impressions of Kz! I am a Kazakh. Things you said are true, but I never notice any of them until you mentioned it 😂

im so glad that you have experienced something from Kazakhstan.Personally i live in Kazakhstan im 14 y.o. All foreigner s have been to Russia or to other countries but, imso happy that u chose Kazakhstan

Hi Rocky, good videos
Thanks a lot
Hello! Thank you for visiting Kazakhstan :) at next time visit Almaty, you will easily find a lot of friends and in Almaty many people speak English :)

You are so natural and simple, it makes you very attractive. Keep it up.)
I am Kazakh and I live in Kazakstan and I feel very good about what you liked in our country
Move to Almaty, the people here are more open. There are many expats living in Medeu district who speak English. Almaty is more comfortable in all aspects for foreigners.
Арина К that depends on what they like
I'm from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿
Dear Ema (Rocky Journeys), thank you very much for your video about Kazakhstan! I m Kazakh and we love foreigners, you are more than welcome to come here! Astana’s ppl a bit colder like their weather so better visit Almaty 😁
Hi there:)))
Hello from Kazakhstan 👋🏻
I liked your video, go ahead 👍🏻
I loved QAZAQ PEOPLE, IT'S WONDERFUL PEOPLE
Been enjoying your videos about Kazakhstan. My goal is to live and teach English there. May I ask what prior experiences and qualifications you had before working at Nazarbayev University?
I admire your ambitions and adventures. Keep up the great content!
You need a Master's degree or PhD in language education or linguistics plus EAP teaching experience
@@rockyjourneys Thank you very much!
great video!
Thank you 🖤
I actually find it quite easy to make local friends without speaking Russian or Kazakh :) I actually have only one foreign friend here. But I think it can be hard to get out of that English bubble at Nazabayez ;)
I can be your friend from Almaty..
I am here any time of the day just, whistle 😁
My wife is from Almaty. I like your videos. She keeps telling me how cold Astana is!
Come to Shymkent. It's hot and fun here. You will learn real Kazakh hospitality. There are mountains, in winter you can ski, and in summer you can swim on the river.
Thanks for video❤️❤️❤️
I advise you to visit Almaty, this city is much better than Astana and there are more people who speak English
I've been there twice! Check out my videos on it!
Go to Almaty! There's a lot to do there. The nature there is beautiful!) Yes, it's hard for you (We don't use English much here.) Welcome to Kazakhstan♡:)

Thank you for your thoughts about Kazakhstan)) I' m kazakh and it's interesting to hear another thoughts about my country, especially from foreign peoples. The fruits are ugly because they are natural and didn't used any vitamins or minerals to maintain them. About 200 and 500 tenge, so it's so true))) it's real everyday problem in Kazakhstan, especially in Astana they are so rich and they all only have big amount banknotes. About supermarkets, it's true too, because we don't have the Walmart as in America you have. May be, because we like more bazaars like eastern country.....About taxi, yes it's cheap but if you count it for real salaries and wages, in America taxi is much cheaper, trust me.....So thanks a lot for your thought's again. And WELCOME again!
Very nice.. Great success
Astana is the coldest place I’ve ever visited!
Russell Solomon I think uve never been in Moscow 😂
@@cani9085 Astana is colder than Moscow, Astana is the second coldest capital in the world, after Ulan Bataar, the capital of Mongolia. Moscow is warmer than them.
I thought you wrote "coolest" :D
Tony x Well, I was in Nur Sultan, it is a new name of Astana if you didn’t know, and sometimes it is really worm in dunno in summer or something
Bro, i live here😂
Winter whole a half year.. Yeah that where I'd like to live
