I just wanted to let everyone know that I made these. I used the duck fat and all the other ingredients except the chili/brisket and sponsored seasoning.
I did use a seasoning from Weber, called Chop House Butter or something.
It was one of the best potatoes I’ve ever had. The skin was so crispy and tasty. The potato was so flavorful.
If I had the time, I would have smoked them longer than 1 hour, so I would recommended smoking longer if you can and if you have the skill to make it work.
Essentially, im a little annoyed that so many people in the comments section said they were going to make this recipe and NOT ONE came back to let everyone know how it went, so I just wanted to fix that problem.
Definitely recommend. I would give this recipe somewhere between 7/10 and 10/10, depending on who cooks it.

My grandma used to make twice baked potatoes in the oven. She would mix the mashed potato with canned tuna, mayo, and anything else she might put in tuna salad, top them with cheese and bake. It sounds weird, but it is REALLY good.
