I used to work in night clubs and was on the DJ mailing list for Polydor and they sent me most of their 12" Shakatak singles from the early 80's. They would send a white label copy with the number 1 in massive writing then 3 weeks later send me the finished red label copy. Think the guy at Polydor was called Theo Loyla. Got some great dance records via Polydor at this time.
Shakatak continues to rock us with beautiful melodies with languid rhythm, inimitable, to surround our hearts with a cocoon of extremely pleasant sweetness for infinite pleasure. May God bless you all for all that you bring us.
I love this intro from 0:00 to 0:32. I just heard of this group not to long ago and I love their music. I was introduced to them by CZcams it's how good music can fall right into your lap at the right time in your life.

I got out of this world and nightbirds and Dr manic and sister cool albums missing invitations day by day and turn the music up and a few others on vinyl and cd hope to complete the set in time.

今から30年以上前の、TVのCMで、地元北海道の自動車ディーラーのイベント開催の告知で、当時パリ・ダカールラリーに出場した、三菱パジェロのラリーカーが北海道で展示される告知で使われたBGMが、この曲だった訳ですけど、誰の演奏で曲名も不明でしたけど、まさしく、この曲でした！動画アップ、ありがとうございます！
しかし…いつ聴いてもシャカタクは色褪せないなぁ〜凄い！この曲を聞いてたのは…もう三十年も前の事か…
