The biggest gap was the jet packing cod games where movement made a huge difference in skill between players
@@masonharris1202 a public match is significantly different than a pro match. you cannot compare a casual public match to a pro game with money on the line and 50 thousand other people waiting to take your spot on the roster if you don't play well. at the professional level, as I said, it is no longer casual, its competitive.
I agree 100% with FormaL. I have always thought since CoD has had coaches, that they should be in stage with them, in the comms during the game. Telling them things like, someone on enemy team spawned out, look out for the flank/pinch, your 2 off your streaks, etc etc

I think the skill ceiling is pretty much the same on both games. It's honestly probably higher on CoD because the sheer amount of players. The more players there are, the harder it is to stand out when there are a million other people trying to be great. In Infinite, you could place top 16 just by going to an event and beating one team lol
@@davedanger4414 skill ceiling isn't the same based off the fact that cod TTK is so short on average, where as halo outside of power weapons, TTK is the same. So when you miss a shot or more, you'll most likely lose the fight. Whereas in cod, when you miss some shots, it doesn't matter cause the new FOTM gun kills in 0.2 seconds.

Just the fact that there are a million other players widening the gap on CoD means that it'll take more skill to climb the ranks. I got to onyx 1900 on Infinite and I think I'm bad at it. I got to crimson on CoD. I don't think the skill gap between the two is crazy. If I'm able to get to a decent rank on Infinite without taking it serious, it can't be tht crazy.

There’s only so much you can know/coach on cod. It’s literally all reaction time and good positioning with good aim of course. That’s really it. Games like rainbow,halo and such are more coach friendly to me….. unless the coach is in stage with you actually playing and giving you tips/callouts then they’re useless….. kind of like the saying “Everybody has a plan till they get punched in their face “💯

I think coaches will always be value I think if anything this could be speaking for the quality of coaches in the cod scene a coach is someone who helps players fine tune their skills introduce new ideas as well as try and put them in better positions to win
Equivalent to football versus soccer. One is calling plays, or involved in plays... the other has setup their players but is hands off once the whistle goes. Still both coaches.

Coaches use to keep track of all the spawn timers of power ups and power weapons and announce when to start rotating for control of that area. Thats why i honestly hated them adding markers and spawn timers displayed in game. Itd be cool for spectating but in game they need to bring back having to learn the spawn times and actually timing them on pick up or if it was burned and would be random
