Everytime I hear him sing this I'm blown away by his grace and performance. He is appears to be a very humble man and I'm hoping to meet him soon. He is doing meet and greets and performances along with the movie version. I'm praying we will be able to afford it. My husband is going to try to take me for my birthday. I can relate to how difficult it is to keep a steady shot when zoomed in. Still, you did a remarkable job on the important part. Congratulations on capturing a legendary performer. I am glad you did the closeup. The other problem that comes up is the face washing out when you pull back. Been there, done that. Love the video.
I disagree! You are witnessing an old overacting man with a voice that is way too strained to convey the nuances of the peace. And the anger! Lord! It's all one note: screaming off the top of the lungs. Gillan is unsurpassed, in my opinion.
yeah well did gillan sing this at 70? also, what peace? that prayer is about the last temptation of a human being. if it wasn't for that anger, this whole fairytale would not have had such an impact on so many people. (but this performance was really bad :D)

So to, seeking the Love of God is something of personal motivation. Begging others to attend themselves, is only pious behavior on the beseechers part. Real love is not encouraged in such a manner. Piousness and commands are an empty path that build no fortitude within others, nor within the ones beseeching. "Inviting" Him into the heart, is about pursueing His Word and praying daily to continuously strengthen the bond. What is "known" in that relationship becomes more and more so, as the relationship is continually pursued. Its not overnight.
