- Some more unused enemies. Did you know that Pikmin 3 Deluxe has a LOT of leftover content hidden in its files? Pretty crazy how much, honestly.

The Bubble Blowhog should be an official enemy.
They probably took it out because ghe Waddlepus also blows bubbles in a similar manner.

Honestly, that bubble blowhog doesn't seem that bad of a concept. Hope they make it return in the future.
It's super cute, just like the Snow boulder caterpillar guys. I think it was removed because the game is already easy enough.
Seeing the Pikmin 2-style models of Pikmin 3 enemies makes me wonder what Pikmin 3 would’ve looked like on the Wii
But Pikmin 2 was on the GameCube
@@tnkBeatbox yes, but the Wii has very similar specs and Pikmin 3 was originally intended to be on the Wii.

@@loonylunar Pikmin 3 was originally released on the Wii U, only the first two Pikmin games were ported to the Wii through the New Play Control! series.
I wonder how many of these are "broken" and are missing things or if they just never worked in the first place and are early versions of later developed enemies.
A bubble hog? I will never forget this wonderful unused enemy. Welp, I guess we'll wait and see if Pikmin 4 went through the same suffering that 3 had. I really hope they add some of the interesting concepts in here to that as well.
This is really cool, interesting how there are more pikmin 2 models than in the original pikmin 3. And there's a functional bubble tank finally!

I am almost positive that the models used for the unused enemies were going to be used for the game if it had been released on the Wii. It's super cool to see the difference between the finished and unused models. Nintendo most likely remade just about every model they designed before moving the project to the Wii U.
Bubble blowhog is so interesting
the entirely unused enemies are neat, but it's also cool to see all the little differences in the enemies we did get!
I kinda hope to see these in Pikmin 4. Maybe they were gonna be, but they made Pikmin 3 Deluxe first and the files stayed in.
I definitely prefer the pikmin 2 style

The unused skitterleafs are probably just for when that are in water

I wonder if the purple pikmin's pound is unused as well they don't stun enemies or latch on to them when thrown onto them... it seems to me its unused, and if they were going to be used outside of mission/bingo mode

I believe the _old enemies (most of them) are the pikmin 2 versions due to more connections to the old game.

It will spawn a macaroon, and that's it really. Nothing happens when you bring it back to the onion.

@@m0istl0la97 That causes the cutscene for first picking him up, which takes place in a completely absurd coordinate, then crashes the game, presumably due to story triggers not existing in mission mode. Actually pretty funny, might record it sometime.
Sounds interesting.I think since the coordinates are in a completely different area all your teleported pikmin will likely die in the void which usually happens.
What happens if you spawn ALOT of fruit in story mode,and collecting all of it.Will the game crash?Im more likely interested in seeing dozens of fruit being juiced in the juicing cutscene.
What happens if you spawn fruits in a defeat enemies mission?Where will the fruit even go,and will it count as points?
Is it possible making it rain in the distant tundra?
Golden fruits in Stort mode?
Last but not least.Can you get a negative score on pikmin 3 deluxe in the Collect Pikmin Mission

how has nobody discussed the bubble blowhog before?
Good question. It technically is in Pikmin 3 WiiU, but as you can see here the "modern" version simply doesn't blow anything. It is an unused enemy, but due to it doing absolutely nothing it wasn't noteworthy enough for a video. I still should've recorded it tbh.
