Met Aiden at the curragh oaks day. Proper gentleman and courteous besides. This a typical interview where honesty and genuineness comes to the fore. His family are of the same mould, even going back to Dylan Thomas and further. Must be one of the greatest trainer, ever. He makes people have an interest in racing with all the insights available.

It's a privilege to witness Aiden's remarkable career. City of Troy looks very special.
Love the humility of the man, the patience with whom ever he talks with, the sharing of his thoughts and the wisdom, then his attention to his horses before and after a race . A true credit to Ireland and the racing world 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🔥🔥🔥☘️☘️☘️☘️🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Could listen to Aidan speak about racing all day long
A word used to much nowadays but this man is a legend.
This man has genuine respect for everyone. You could hear the respect he had for Vincent O'Brien achieving the The Triple Crown.
what a class man aidan. is ..and a nice interview by that man as well....yes were blessed in ireland to have aidan
Such a genuine man
I love the way he has such nice words on other trainers horses.
Always great listening to Aidans unique insights. Incredible operation.
City of Troy in the juvenile. Amazing if it happens.
Love to see August Rodin take a shot at the Classic to emulate his Grandfather the Super Horse Sunday SILENCE
What a Beautiful Class Man
What a wonderful, wonderful man..
English racing fan, shameless homer backing against Irish and French horses since 1984. Aiden O’Brien is humility personified. Horses and staff first, everything else last. Pure class, head and shoulders above Gosden, Stoute et al.
A wolf in sheep's clothing!
great watch,
Love interviews like this. Auguste Rodin might just be a bit of a thinker. Brilliant when he feels like it and like a moody teenager if he doesn't.
Like some Brazilian footballers dislike a tough rainy night at Burnley. I hope you understand the analogy.
It is weird considering he has Galileo bloodline. What you might get is one of his progeny being more successful than him👍. Actually a little like Nonaynever.
@@joemac9249 I agree, regardless of how the rest of his season goes I’m looking forward to seeing how his progeny turn out.
@@chimpzilla A lot of breeders will be put off by his attitude,
33:15 on word genius.
Any update on Luxembourg?
The Top trainers: O'Brien, Mullins, Nicholls etc have made me good money.
I only back one horse at a meet. But I put plenty on.
He speaks in riddles like all trainers.. But very nicely relaxed speaker.. I don't think any of them apart from Prescott know the ceiling of horses.
He seems to be a very nice man, hard to find these days.
Ten Epsom darby wins from this man says it all on its own, with this man , Any other races must be easy for him ..If he was British he,d been knighted years ago ..Why ? cant we in Ireland honour him ?
Great trainer, great horses.woundering why you don't put your hand in your pocket to support events in Tipperary, J P in Limerick has done miracles for them, God Bless J P Mc Manus.
I'm not quite sure why is luckier, Aidan to have th Ballydoyle partnership and set up or the reverse/ My money would be on Ballydoyle being luckier having him.
Does anyone know if aiden still rides out
Aidan rides a skewbald (red & white, like Tonto's horse), in an American Western saddle. While watching his string sometimes. Other times from his jeep.
Henry Cecil rode a small horse or pony too. While watching at morning exercise. The gallops.
@cornet959 cheers @cornet,I think people think I was messing when I asked this question so thanks
His augustin rodin plan, backfired a bit,it won derby and Ireland was not brilliant, the other 2 races this season was well beat 🤔
Auguste Rodin seems to be a very moody horse which is hard to predict
Back to back derby demolition jobs and then a mid race injury last time out..
#monster
@@Martin.Lewis.. Great horse on his day but he wasn't injured lto. You can't say he's a particularly trustworthy horse for backers.
@martinlewis6036 he wasn't injured
@@Martin.Lewis..no injury pal. Just accept it and move on.
@@chimpzillahe’s a pig. Doesn’t get his own way. Spits his dummy out. Not to be trusted
Paddington lay off the week mostadaf will win
@mynxd
Spot on, unlike that O'❤Brien / Moore fanboy Lewis who deleted his Paddington a cert comments.
Obiusly very rrare all he's winning horses , beat the rest whiout breaking sweat ,wow not like in north america power only feeding grains zero drugs,
A man that causes so much cruelty to horse's. Anthony Van Dyke, a young horse euthanized for having a broken fetlock. Euthanized because he was unlikely to ever race again. A man that couldnt be bothered to rehabilitate his horse to be sold on as a pet.. retired. So sad... And the whipping of horses. What pain. If anyone can provide any logic to any of this feel free.
Your talking rubbish. Clearly all against horse racing. Thank god you are a minority.your lot talk a load of rubbish
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Whipping them is different from what you believe it is. They aren’t causing serious harm, just letting them know to go.
@@lordfarquard9902 have you seen the tests they've carried out? Looking at the flesh looks like it causes damage and pain that it would on a human.
@@JemmaM89don't be silly a fecking half ton horse doesn't get hurt by the the wip, it's like a fly landing on your hand and you flick it of, the wip gets them going that's it
Ballydoyle/Coolmore never attend York in person.
Yes they do
What do you mean?
@@isking1715 he's a weirdo
@@robertdelacy3434 I thought you meant Aiden for a moment 😄 Yes, I'm getting that vibe.
I'm not surprised you're called Burke. 😂 😂 😂 😂
