The reason is that one of her ace Pokémon Mismagus Pokédex entry once said that it made illusions and people with more logical brains had a harder time accepting the illusions and people who don’t think can easily accept the illusions. This is referenced in the manga for DPP.
Rule number one on a nuzlocke: don't say what could happen in status or crit hits... xD this nuzlocke was actually pretty good, so chaotic, that was the first time I saw Milotic use the mirror coat. So good.
The left one: Onion (Breloom) (Jaiden's Pokémon Ruby Nuzlocke) Jaiden chose Torchic because her favorite Pokémon is Blaziken. The one Pokemon on the right side: Onion-kun (Breloom) (My Pokémon Emerald Nuzlocke) I chose Mudkip since it's an excellent Pokémon all around for nuzlocke challenges. Plus, surfing on water won't be a problem. My Pokémon Platinum Nuzlocke: More convoluted storylines as Lomax (Infernape) takes the lead and feels sorry for the Pokémon that lost their lives. My Pokémon Black Nuzlocke: Kirby is the main character, when a Pokemon dies, Kirby went into mental breakdown mode and just kills the enemy Pokemon.
That final battle with Cynthia…bro.. I FELT the disappointment. It brought back feelings from 2007.. that seriously hurt.. from start to finish, watching you build that team; I grew a sense of attachment to those Pokémon. At the end, I was cheering and rooting for them as if they were my own. Rest In Peace.

Love the idea, but to me it would be a little more entertaining (more Pokemon variety) if cards that were pulled as a non-Pokemon would not count towards failed encounters, or at least if you got an item as a card, you could use it during a battle.
