Hello Phil. That's a great tutorial on how we can use Spectralayers for Post-Audio. Thanks a lot, especially for the transient/select-similar trick! Good jobs. Hope to see you again very soon.

Great video Phil 👍, Unmix > Noisy Speech is really a game changer in SpectraLayers 10. And using the select similar tool against the transients after unmixing components is a very cool tip 😎

@@PhilPendlebury Phil, again, thanks so much for this instruction...it's really helped me think a bit outside the box to get what I need to do done. I've been working on eliminating crew chatter from shotgun recordings of an on location film. Took me a little while, but I've realized separation of voices from noise and then separating the voices using the unmix tools allows the ability to make a guide layer to then manually remove unwanted voices...pure genius of a software tool!

Great stuff. Only criticism is you must be using a large buffer size on your audio interface as the audio playback is a little behind the cursor? I find 256 or 128 is a good value for SL 10

Thanks for watching. The sync issue is due to live stream, using cameras and different mic etc. They all have different offsets in OBS, It’s not related to buffer size.
In fact, I use different buffer sizing depending on the work. For example, Dolby Atmos requires 512. But when mixing / tracking in Cubase / Nuendo etc. I will use 64. In Spectralayers I tend not to use the ASIO driver at all. There are many factors involved in order to get audio and video synced for streaming.
I need to check all the offsets again though, as I recently changed frame rate, which affects the sync delays.
