Amazing demo and results, considering the use of extremely damaged audio as a sample. Great job, Steinberg! 👏🏽👏🏽 you gain a new user switching from RX 10 Advance.
try it first. steinbergs products don't always work like the demos.
I've been running SL11 and RX11 side by side on a project all morning. SL11 wins for speech restoration/separation. My ears prefer SL11's music algorithms but a coworker calls it a draw (the drums are REALLY well separated now, and the brass channel is also going to get a lot of use). I'm upgrading (15% off the upgrade price!)
Look at casting and imprinting in SL. Really cool. Basically you can do spectral coding, or remove one layer from another. Bonkers options for sound design. The new sound generator is also a lot nicer.
That batch processing could use 2 input modes, what you got and select folder path, will be great fun dropping 1000s of files in there... But looks like a contender to replace isotope RX advanced.
I don't know if it's a bug or a feature, Umix Transcription module always translates transcription of voices that are not english to English, you can't get it to transcribe into original language.
Looking forward to a patch to utilize the GPU. The GPU setting does nothing (4090) it tends to freeze on unmix… this is my 4th pro version of this program. They’ll get it patched. Excellent tools team, fantastic coding 👍👍
I didn't notice voice unmix quality difference from version 10.
Voice DeNoise has been improved, not Unmix Noisy Speech (yet)
Wasn't it supposed to release today? I don't see anything on the website
it was...you have to log in...or you are looking at cached page
@@eureitz7490 thanks for the heads up!
Another payed update so soon? Feel likes a subscription by now.
steinberg seems to only do paid updates.
Nah, you can choose not to upgrade, and it's still a perpetual license.
@@liarspeaksthetruth You don’t need to but sometimes you have to.
I feel you...I just purchased SL 10 Pro on May, 4, 2024; my first ever SL purchase...to get to SL11 I gotta pony up another 70-75 currency units?!?...not cool
